Unexpected Visit

Word of advice

Yesterday's events had left me shaken, and because of that I couldn't sleep well that night. If I hadn't called 911, I would have gotten kidnapped or maybe even worse than just literally being abducted probably by some random guy..

I snapped out of it as I looked at the clock. ".. Four-thirty.." I mumbled, kicking off the covers while I rubbed my eyes, stretching out both my limbs and maybe having a few satisfying bone cracks.

I got up and walked to the bathroom, my towel on my arm since I rustled through my bag like it was garbage.

"Maybe a nice cold shower will wake me up.." Yawning rather lazily and sleepily, I headed to the shower and soon turn the water on.

Next thing I knew my teeth are chattering like crazy! And my body is shaking as a result.

"Jesus christ!" I yelled out from the immense cold, turning it down as soon as I reached for the soap. While bathing myself with the soap, I started to ponder about what happened yesterday even more.

Whoever entered this house is no thief, as nothing was stolen and nor is the important document in the other room. It can't be some murderer either, because they'd probably wait for me even if an officer is with me.

So one conclusion is clear: the person that entered here is a kidnapper, as they didn't do anything else other than search through the rooms bit by bit, probably looking for me as Luna is at the hospital.

After rinsing off the soap and the excess shampoo, I then let myself soak with the semi-cold water, making sure that I have gotten off the shampoo bubbles. I then took a hold of my towel and dried myself a bit, soon wrapping it around my body.

I peeked through just in case, the small unease within me still present. After no sign of anybody, I took a deep breath and let out a heavy sigh, stepping away from the shower.

Picking up my dirty clothes, I then turned the knob and closed it behind me, walking towards the bedroom I had previously slept in.

I slowly opened it and took a small peek.

Nobody there.

'Of course nobody is gonna be there! Stop feeling so paranoid..!' I thought to myself, trying to assure myself that there is no one planning to jump on me or anything.

But I couldn't help it! It was just a simple event, and yet it scared me to bits..!

I checked through the cameras last night, and kept on again and again to the point I missed a few hours of beauty sleep.

But no matter how many times I have double checked and re-rolled, there is nothing that caught my eye.. Just nothing..!

I shut the door behind me and soon started to change my clothes. Wearing the blue sweater and green flowy pants, I soon checked the time on my phone.

"Four fifty-eight.." I sighed, though that means it isn't five yet. At least I have a few more minutes, and it striking five is no panic for me as that meant I'm gonna be just in time to get a cab.

Putting on my brown socks and black shoes, I then checked around the house just in case. I soon locked the windows and also double checked whether or not they are really locked, and went to the room that I hid the document in.

I opened the drawer with the spare key and checked the document. I sighed in relief as it was still in there, all in one piece and perfectly untouched. "Good lord it wasn't taken.." I muttered, closing it and locking the drawer yet again.

After a few more checks, I grab my bag and soon strapped it around, my phone on my hands with earphones on.

I looked at the house one last time, as all the lights are open and windows locked shut, the doors also locked as glue.
