The car was silent, all I could hear was the breeze of air from the air-conditioner; men's scent, not that nauseous. I have a car sickness, I don't know if it's a thing but I puke at certain car smells — I'm weird.

"Photoshoot's tomorrow Jiaqi." Yuxin reminded, eyes on the road, totally attractive.

"I'm not that pretty!" I frowned.

"You are," I smiled at her feedback, and she'd instantly noticed. "Just a little." And the frown came back.

"Thanks for the banana chips," I waved my hand along with the paper bag. "Keyin must've told you that I love bananas."

"How did you know that Shaking told me?!" She exclaimed.

"She's my only friend." It's the truth,

Shaking is my only friend. Well, I have a couple of acquaintances before but it never reached the level of friendship that I want. I moved out of my parents by 18, which is my legality age: found myself a job, an apartment, bought my lambo at 21 – I'm saving money since 10. – I also met Xueer at 21, being my first girlfriend. Not to brag, but I had a lot of flings before; but Xueer's the only one I made official. We broke up at my 22s, and now I'm here – the same year – being penniless and homeless, working for Liu Yuxin; my greatest rival back then.

"Have you eaten?" She asked.

"Banana chips," I raised up the bag once again, and flashed a smile.

"No, I mean meals."

I shook my head, cause I haven't had lunch yet or even breakfast.

We drive through McDonald's, order us some foods and drove for miles. She got me some pancakes, for some odd reasons, while she got herself: 2 huge cup of coffees. "Too much caffeine will hurt your head," I murmured, as I filched the cup from her hand. "1 cup!"

"Let me have my coffee back," Yuxin tossed her eyes at me, while her hands control the wheel. "Jiaqi!"

"That's why you're grumpy all the time. Too much caffeine!" I rolled my eyes, as I kept the cup at my side.

The stoplights flashed a red sign, and the people starts to cross the pedestrian. Oldies and Adults; a large variety of human beings. Yuxin shifted her body facing me, her arm was on the steering wheel. And my eyes was on the road — aware of Xin's whereabouts by my peripheral vision.

"Why do you always insist on things that I should do, Are you my mom?" She muttered.

"No, but I'm your girlfriend." I let my fingertip touch her nose, and I felt a peculiar current, more of like an electricity! An electric current!

I beamed with concern.

"Fake," She leaned her back at the driver's seat, as her lips curled into a smile. "Want some music?"

I nodded.

The lights turned green, and she proceeded to drive her fancy car.

/ Play the song above /

"Nice," I devour the beats, as I wander my sight outside the window. "The song was dope huh," I grinned. "It kinda make me feel less singe."

The song contains catchy rhythm, and the melody was lit. So modern, such a chill vibe, perfect for driving hours.

"You're not single," she murmured.

"I am," I replied.

"You have me," my nostrils slightly dilated, as my cheeks flushed into peach.

"Fake," I smiled.

"At least you're not single." Yuxin poked her tounge out, and it made my cheeks burned even more. "Nice blush on." She smirked.

"Thanks, it's limited edition." I mumbled. "Hmmm how are you doing these past few days?"

Yuxin ruffled her hair a bit. "Fine, a bit stressed out."

"Why?" I took another chip inside my paper bag. Oh, strawberry flavored chips! I don't know these stuffs ever existed, till now.

"Work, how about you?"

I munched some crisps, "I'm not stress at all, kinda happy, even bought some lingeries." My voice have been muffled by my bites.

"Lingerie?" She furrowed her brows as she tilts her head faintly.

"No, no, no, I mean underwears!" I uttered defensively, vaguely blocking my mouth with a hand; just as to prevent any slips of residues from my bazoo.

Yuxin worn a lopsided smile. "Almost thought you're onto something sexual." She murmured. "Cause I could definitely imagine you in lingeries."

I was too occupied by the song and my chips, that I haven't heard her last sentence. "What?"

"Nothing," she whispered.

"So what's your plan about our act?" I changed the topic, as I felt the presence of silence.

"What do you mean?"

"Like, does Yu Yan already talk to you? Was she jealous or something? Improvements? Are you satisfied?"

"Too much questions Jiaqi, you know – when I met you, thought you'll be boyish, cold, and quiet. Such a contrast," she hushed a low voice, as her hands controlled a 360 turn on the wheel.

"Answer my questions," I uttered.

"It's fine, pretty satisfied. Both Xueer and Yu Yan messaged me about us, let's keep up the good work, till Yu Yan comes back to me."

I don't know why my heart aches a bit, geez am I developing a heart disorder or something? "Why not just be with her again, don't make things so complicated." I said with a hint of frustration.

"I-I don't want to uhm court?" She was a bit hesistant, but had managed to point out her thought.

"Like ask her out?" I queried.

She nodded, "Hmm something like that."

"It's actually a piece of cake." I cleaned my hand with a napkin, as I kept the wrapper inside the bag. "You just need to take everything slow." I smiled. "Trust the pace."

"How?"

"Ask girls, as simple as that. Why do you insist on making things so complicated? Are you my mom?" I returned back her line; for vengeance purposes. (wink)

"Huh, what's with your mom Jiaqi?"

"She makes random stuffs complicated." I smiled, unveiling the truth. "By the way, just ask them, be straighforward."

Her cheeks blushed a little, as her eyes glisten at the rearview mirror. "Never asked a girl before."

"Really?!" I exclaimed. "Aye, just ask them like..." I gazed at her, "Yuxin, can I make you mine?"
