Vale's P.o.v:

          One week flew by, full of tiring training sessions. A second week followed and our beginner stages slowly faded away. We learned how to control ourselves and how to work better in teams, how to share skills and how to use abilities to our advantage. How to jump from side to side and maintain a good balance on the thread we were walking on, hand in hand with our partners. The third week spent at the mansion has brought with it a calmer phase. We learned how to manage and control our feelings in a battle, how to gain and channelize our inner power towards the opponents. In the third week we also learned that it would be a great idea if the six of us, Aria, Denise, Jungkook, Taehyung, Yoongi and I, would meet in the library and spend time together. We read a lot and slowly started to become good friends. We learned more about vampires and about this mysterious world we've been propelled in. The origins of the curse remained a mystery, the three boys not really desiring to discuss about it.
          By the end of the fourth week, relationships have become particularly close, nights have become bathed in the scent of roses while lips traced on bare skin and with the power of understanding and listening, our bonds strengthened considerably. By the end of the fourth week everybody knew their place, everybody understood their purpose and there was no doubt that the big day was approaching.
          Friday night, it was the last session of training of the fourth week and it was about time to show and analyze our skills. We were all gathered in the usual training room and Denise was chosen to go first. She took a step forward, Yoongi following her close behind. The rest of us stood on a bunch of chairs, looking like a huge family watching the Olympic Games. Probe: Archery.
          Standing meters away from three targets, she took out three arrows from the bag and then passed it to Yoongi. Yoongi put the bag over his shoulder and held his hands clasped together for Denise to step on and jump. She nodded and placed her right foot between his palms while pulling three arrows on the bowstring. He lifted her up effortlessly and it amazed me how good she was at keeping her balance. With her right foot between Yoongi's hands and her back straightened, she held a tight grip on the three arrows.

Denise: Light them up, babe!
Alec: You got this! *he brought his hands close to his mouth and cheered for them*

          Denise looked at him and winked. Immediately after, Yoongi threw her upwards and as she perfected her posture, the tips of the arrows lit up. Still in the air, she let go of the three arrows and each one of them found their target. It was amazing to see how fast she has learned. She should thank her father once we go back. He got half of her training done.
          She fell into Yoongi's direction and he caught her in his arms, making us cheer and applaud.

Alec: *he ran into their direction* You were amazing guys! *he threw his hands around both of their necks and came back between them, looking like a father proud of his children*

          Jace, Aria and Jungkook approached the center of the room and a deathly silence swept over us. Aria closed her eyes and cracked her knuckles. She usually does that before a big event. And showing her skills has always been a big event for her.
