"Or you wish you were," a taller girl smacked the silver haired boy in the back of his head.

"Heh... you're always so mean~" Aikawa said silently, letting out a nervous laugh, with a tinge of possibly longing, bordering it.

"We've got to get him to a hospital," the girl took out her cell phone, "FAST!"

Aikawa stood up carrying Chuuya bridal style, before noticing Dazai glaring daggers at him.

"What? Who're you?"

Dazai was knocked back to reality with those words. For the past few minutes, Dazai felt a weird feeling towards this Aikawa guy. He couldn't really place his finger on it, but for some reason, he instantly declared that he didn't like this guy... but why?

"Nobody you need to bother yourself with," Dazai muttered as he stood up. Kunikida, Atsushi and the everyone else were running to his side.

"Chuuya-san," Atsushi looked over at the unconscious figure in Aikawa's arms. "Yosano-san will be able to help him."

He's gonna be fine...

Chuwuuyaa~

Shh... You're giving him a headache...

Chuuya!

Chuuya could hardly open his eyes. His head started to ache as the bright light reached his eyeballs, and disturbed his sensitivity.

"Idiot! You woke him up!"

Squinting, he tried to make out the weird figures dancing in front of him. He reached out his hands and felt what he was lying on; sheets... a bed. His eyes finally adjusted, only to be greeted by a beaming Aikawa.

"Oi," he pushed Aikawa's face away and sat up straight. "What happened?"

"You used corruption, duh," Aikawa leaned back on to a chair by the side of the bed. "Passed out, carried you to a hospital, some Yosano chick used her ability, and Voila! Ze princess has awakened~"
Aikawa had joined the Port Mafia only six months ago, and was assigned as Chuuya's partner, much to Chuuya's disliking. But during those six months, the man named Shiota Aikawa grew to be a good and reliable friend, and a very trusted member of the mafia, his carefree personality playing a big role in getting him his position.

Chuuya groaned as he clutched his sides, he was in much pain. Did that Yosano person really cure him? Chuuya looked up again and noticed a girl standing next to Aikawa.

"Sadie-san," Chuuya called out to her.

Sadie was a tall girl, with medium length, purple hair and light brown eyes. She sported a white bandana, a black vest which exposed her perfect curves, cargo pants, and black ladies' deck shoes.

"Chuuya-san, you should take it easy," she held him down from moving too much. "You were badly injured even before you went berserk."

And with that, Chuuya remembered what happened. The Satou siblings had given him one hell of a beating, which Chuuya would guiltily deny if anyone who wasn't there asked.

"Tch-"

The door creaked open and Yosano walked in.

"Ah, your body has mostly healed," she assured the trio. "the rest can only be done by you getting enough rest and taking these medications." She handed him a packet with pills.

"Um..." Kyouka popped up behind Yosano, she stood in place and spoke in monotone. "Thank you... for saving me." She bowed down to Chuuya, who just scoffed her off.

"Whatever"

Just then Dazai walked in fuming, followed by a petrified Atsushi.

Chuuya caught his eyes and said, "oi, bastard! Was a little too late in using your ability huh-" Chuuya was stopped as Dazai violently pressed his hand onto the bed head by the side of Chuuya's face.

Their faces were so close, Chuuya could feel Dazai's breath on his face, warm and angry. The brunette's eyes stared straight into Chuuya's, sending a shiver down the redhead's spine.

"Why..."

"Hah?" Chuuya was confused, and very, very uncomfortable.

"Why... Why did you help them?"

"Dazai-"

"Why did you put yourself in danger to save them?!"

Everyone in the room looked at the two of them, trying to catch on what was happening before them.

"You work in the Port Mafia! Why save Kyouka-chan? And take on the beating?!" It was clear now, that Atsushi had told Dazai what had happened when they were taken away, and Dazai clearly didn't think of Chuuya as some hero 'cause of what he did.

"It's not like you would've forgiven me..." Chuuya slowling muttered for only Dazai to hear, "...if anything happened to your precious colleagues there, huh?"

Dazai's eyes softened, "I'm glad you're okay, Kyouka-chan, Atsushi-kun."

He turned towards Aikawa, who instantly stood up from his seat.

"Osamu Dazai, forgive me for my rude behavior earlier," Dazai had eerily, almost at once gone back to his usual self. "Take good care of him." He shook Aikawa's hand and walked out the room.

There was a moment of silence until Chuuya decided it was too much of an awkward setting for him, especially since he was surrounded by DA member as well.

"Ahh!" Chuuya groaned, "that guy always has to ruin the mood." He turned over and fell asleep, like he had been longing for that ever since he woke up.

Sadie glanced at a confused Aikawa, and possibly was thinking of the same thing he was.

"What was that about?"
