Lize swore that she wouldn't last long in the party in the first place with all the guests around her, not to mention the nobles that kept on trying their chances out on her. She was thankful that her brother as well as Prince (Falric) arrived just in the nick of time to bail her out. She couldn't blame her friend, Toko for not doing anything for she isn't exactly in the position to do so.

She shook those thoughts away as she, Toko, and (Falric) arrived at the entrance of the royal gardens. There were some Helestan royal guards who tailed them to make sure that the princess is safe, but they respectfully kept their distance.

They enter through the gate and began their conversation to bring their minds away from the entire situation earlier, mainly for Lize.

For some time, they talked about trivial things such as hobbies and the like. Overtime, the topics became more and more questionable in an amusing way, with lewd questions as an example coming from a certain Cerberus more often than not.

"So, how about in Felgarde?" Toko asked (Falric) while Lize tries to breathe to get the blush out of her face caused by one of her sentences. "You know, being one?"

"Hmm, how do I start?" He mused as he thought for a way to start the topic. "Well, as you two already know, horsemanship is a big part of our culture. To be a Felgardian is to be born in the saddle." (Falric) replied and the two just looked at him with both curiosity and confusion. "That's what our elders say. It's one way of explaining it in an extravagant way." He added.

"I was going to say that." Toko said while holding her giggle

"Were you born into it?" Lize asked (Falric) even though she already knew what he will answer with. Or so she thought.

"Supposedly no." (Falric) answered, which surprised the two.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"I was not royalty when I was born." He revealed. "My mother had a job of making dresses and my father was a local official in our village back then. In other words, we were commoners."

"So... what changed? How did you become a prince of one of the most powerful houses in Felgarde?" Lize questioned.

"I figured you would ask that. From what my father told me and my brothers, he played a role in saving the king from soldiers from the House of Whitescale, a vassal of the House of Cheliot. From that point, the king and my father became close and even became the heir to the Felgardian throne." He told them, surprising them even more and he chuckled at the sight of their flabbergasted faces. "I know, very surprising."

"H- how?" Lize managed to sputter. As a royalty, she knows that only the members of the family can take over positions that are often reserved for the royal family, that and commoners have practically no chance at achieving such high positions in society.

"The king didn't have an heir. That, and he didn't trust his distant relatives." (Falric) said. "So, yeah. You can say that I'm a half-blood."

"So that's where you got your personality." Toko commented. Lize and (Falric) stared at her.

"What does that mean?" (Falric) asked.

"Your kindness, honesty, selflessness – those things are rare among the Helestan nobles. They usually don't have those traits, at least, not as genuine as yours." Toko answered and Lize nodded in agreement.

"Half-blood or not, you helped those people in the town from weeks before even though they are not your own, and I just know that you are a great person, (Falric). That I can appreciate." Lize said to (Falric) with a smile.

"That, or you're simply tired of having to deal with the princes of your kingdom." (Falric) mused with a smirk. Lize tried to argue, but he had a point.
