- Capital of Helesta, days later... -

Thanks to the Helestan royal family, (Falric) and the Felgardians have recovered or are still recovering from their injuries and illnesses in the more seriously wounded. Information about the Dreadknights were suppressed quickly, safeguarding a terrible secret that the Felgardians possessed so that stability could be preserved. It worked, for a time.

(Falric) has just learned of the Cheliots' departure from Helesta and back to the west. They were negotiated into being released from detainment by other envoys from Cheliot, and this all happened after the Felgardians broke out and attempted their escape. It was quite suspicious to everyone, but no one wanted diplomatic consequences from the kingdom that has an army many times their size. In the end, (Falric) lost his chance to make them pay and he could only clench his hands in anger.

However, the problems do not stop there. Just right after the Cheliots left Helesta, a sudden surge of uprisings across the Eastern Plateaus caught the kingdom off guard. The insurgents claimed that they seek to depose the royal family one way or another which understandably was a concerning prospect, but this concern was greater with the Felgardians.

After all, these 'revolutions' are slowly becoming more common and dangerous in the Southern Plains with the members claiming that they seek a new rule, just like in Helesta. There seems to be a subtle pattern behind them; sprouting out of nowhere and without warning, armed sufficiently to be a significant threat and when they do appear, it was always violent. The same things are currently happening in Helesta now and the Felgardians can't help but suspect that the insurgencies across the lands might be connected to each other, as if they are being controlled by a more powerful entity behind the scenes. The Kingdom of Cheliot is their primary suspect, but they still lack evidence to accuse them.

Something must be done and done quickly to suppress the revolutions, but with the nobles and military officers spread out to address the uprisings across the kingdom and with borders closing one by one, their options were limited.

"We still do not know the true cause of the uprisings." Queen Phaerys said to the people assembled in the throne room composed of Helestans and Felgardians. Stress is evident on her voice. "From what we have gathered, the insurrectionists are receiving significant funding and support from a yet unknown player. Our army can fight them handily, but with the sudden increase in their activities, I don't know how long we can continue this — something must be done on our side."

"With all due respect, Queen Phaerys, but most of our soldiers are already committed to the point that there are barely any more to secure our duchies, your Grace." Lord Kovic, the patriarch of the House of Merden and father to Prince Oliver replied to the queen. "What you are implying is near improbable. I'm afraid that the House of Merden will not be able to spare any more troops."

"Lord Kovic is right. It is the same case with my house as well." Prince Cyril of the House of Silvercane said. "Our company of guardsmen has already left our estates to assist the Helestan regiments in quelling the uprisings, leaving only a handful as garrison."

"Even so, something has to be done. We cannot stand idly and allow these rebels to grow in power." Princess Diana, Lize's elder sister said.

"The princess is right. But how will we move? We do not have any choices that will yield the results that we desire." This time, Prince Dareth of the House of Crosslake said.

As the nobles discussed their course of action, Lize along with her friends as well as the Felgardians stood on one side of the throne room. Toko, Ange, (Falric), Dale, and Sir Giazza watched as their discussion continued to prove fruitless and they can do nothing at the moment.
