Switch It Up

Book 2 --- Chapter 6

"Is she going to be ok?" Snow White asked. Flynn licked his lips.
"She's still in the asylum, but she should be fine," he admitted. Snow swallowed. Flynn and the rest of the Golden Flower Kingdom had stayed at the Bad Apple Kingdom, as their queen slowly died of shock and craziness, but, of course nobody wanted to admit that Rapunzel was dying. But nonetheless they stayed hopeful.
Snow pursed her lips and stared out into the silent night, as Flynn walked away.
"Hey, Snow,"
"Hey, Cindy," Snow said as Cindy walked up behind her. They were silent for a minute before Cindy broke down into tears.
"Hey," Snow whispered and gently hugged her.
"Oh, Red," Cindy cried. "Where are you?"
Snow led Cindy inside and looked up at the stars.
"Where are you, Red?" she whispered shaking her head.

Red staggered out of a crater-sized hole. A hand helped her up. She smiled when she saw Parker's friendly smile.
"Ready to go, Princess?" he asked, helping her onto Snow's horse, Snuggles. She looked down to see she was wearing a glowing red dress and when I say glowing I mean, glowing. Her dirty red came was now a wolfish silver. As she and Parker ran into the forest she knew that one day she would return to her friends, but for now she hopped off the horse and morphed into a howling silver wolf.
Parker laughed and urged the horse to go faster. Red's tounge hung out, as she and Parker ran threw the forest heading to the cottage.
She wondered why they were still alive but that didn't matter. As they ran she felt nothing but happiness.
And like she said, one day she will return.
Return to her family.
One day.
Return to friends.
One day.
Return to her kingdom as the rightful queen of the Dark Forest.
