Meanwhile in the TARDIS 1

"Doctor," Amy said slowly.

"Amy," the Doctor looked at her expectantly. Amy stands in nightie, looking at console room. I'm staring at the console, sitting down and listening.

"Why's it a phone box?"

"Sorry what?" The Doctor looked at Amy, frowning.

"On the outside it said police box," Amy begins to ramble. "Why have you labeled a time machine police box, why not time machine? Is that too obvious? And what is a police box? Do police men come in in boxes? How many do you get? Are you a police man? No, look at your hair. Actually just LOOK at your hair! Do you ever look at your hair and think 'whoa...it just won't stop? And my chin! Look I'm wearing a bow tie, shoot me now'? Am I gabbling?"

"A bit, yeah," I said loudly, yawning slightly.

"The question stands," Amy threw me a look and looked back the Doctor.

"The first question?"

"Yes,"

"Well it's not really a police box, which by the way is a special kind of telephone box that police men used to use,"

"Right, telephone box," Amy stated. "There's a light on the top, do you need to change the bulb?"

"Amy, stop," the Doctor said. "Breath..." Amy sucked in deeply. I grinned and watched.

"Why doesn't the air get out?" Amy moaned. "It is made of wood...oh...you've got a wooden time machine. Do you feel stupid? Sorry, back on the bow tie," I bark a laugh and lay down.

"It's camouflage," the Doctor begins. "It's disguised as a police telephone box from 1963. Every time the TARDIS materializes in a new location within the first nanosecond of landing it analyzes its surroundings, calculates a 12-dimensional data map of everything within a thousand mile radius, and determines which outer shell would blend in best with the environment..." getting a rise the Doctor pauses. "And then it disguises itself as a police telephone box from 1963."

"Oh," Amy paused. "why?"

"It's probably a bit of a fault actually," the Doctor fumbles. "I've been meaning to check..."

"What, it's a police box every time?" Amy walked behind him.

"Yeah, I suppose, now you mention..." the Doctor fumbled some more.

"How long's it been doing that?" Amy raised a brow.

"Oh...not long..." more fumbling.

"Ok, ok, but what about the windows?" Amy persisted. "There are windows on the outside but where do they go? Is it a cry for help?"

"What?" The Doctor shouted, confused.

"The bow tie!" Amy groaned.

"Bow ties are cool." The Doctor straightened the bow tie.

"And you're an alien," Amy gasped.

"Yeah!" The Doctor stopped. "Well, in your terms yeah, in MY terms," he taps her forehead. "YOU'RE an alien. In quite a few people's terms probably."

"What kind of alien?"

"Well, you know, a nice one," the Doctor said. "Definitely one of the nice ones."

"So you're like a uh, space..." she poked him. "squid? Or something...Are you like a tiny little slug in a human suit? Is that why you walk like that?"

"Amy! This is me. This," the Doctor slaps her hands to his cheeks. "is what I really look like."

"Well that's fine then!" Amy slaps his cheeks. I laughed again.

"Ow! Good."

"Ok. Ok, I think I'm done there..." Amy paused and then laughed.

"Amy Pond," the Doctor grinned as he pulled a lever. "we've barely started," he pulls another lever. "Cos..." he ran to door with Amy and I following. "Do you know what I keep in here?" He stopped before doors. I grinned and began to jump around.

"What?" Amy asked, getting giddy at my reaction.

"Absolutely everything," the Doctor dramatically opened doors to show us space. "Anything fit your fancy?"

"Ooo!" I laughed giddily. Amy looked at the Doctor.

"We're in space..." she whispered.

"No, THAT's space," the Doctor grinned.

"But it can't be," Amy gasped.

"But it is," I said.

"But it's like...it's like...it's like..." Amy looked out. "special effects?"

"Like what?" The Doctor raised a brow.

"It is isn't it? It's not real," Amy denied.

"Get out," I gestured. She whirled to me.

"What?"

"Get out," the Doctor repeated for me.

"What?"

"No, seriously," the Doctor grabbed her and shoved her out. "Get out!" With a grin, he quickly rushes forward to grab her ankle as she lets out a scream
