"Behold," the Doctor shouted, jumping out of the TARDIS. "Rio," I peeked outside and walked behind him.
"Nah," I said, shaking my head.
"Not really getting the sunshine carnival vibe," Rory noted, stepping out as well. Amy walked out behind him and closed the TARDIS door.
"No?" the Doctor said.
"No," Amy stated but the Doctor ignored her.
"Ooo, feel that, though," he said, jumping up. "What's that?"
"Huh?" I frowned and jumped up as well.
"Ground feels strange," the Doctor said. "Just me? Wait. That's weird,"
"What's weird?" Rory frowned.
"Doctor, stop trying to distract us," Amy complained. "We're in the wrong place. Doctor, it's freezing and I've dressed for Rio. We are not stopping here. Doctor. You listening to me? It's a graveyard. You promised me a beach," I watched as the Doctor got down and examined something.
"Blue grass," the Doctor grinned. "Patches of it all around the graveyard. So, Earth, 2020-ish, ten years in your future, wrong continent for Rio, I'll admit, but it's not a massive overshoot,"
"Why are those people waving at us?" I asked suddenly. I pointed to two figures on the other side of the valley. The Doctor stood up straight.
"Can't be," he muttered. Rory started to wave back.
"Don't," Amy scolded, jabbing his side as the Doctor uses a pair of binoculars.
"It is," the Doctor pulled the binoculars away. "It's you two,"
"No, we're here," Rory frowned. "How can we be up there?"
"Ten years in your future," the Doctor said. "Come to relive past glories, I'd imagine. Humans, you're so nostalgic,"
"We're still together in ten years?" Amy asked.
"No need to sound so surprised," Rory huffed.
"Hey, let's go and talk to them," Amy cried, grinning happily. "We can say hi to future us. How cool is that?"
"NO!" I shouted. Amy stared at me.
"Er, no, best not," the Doctor said. "Really best not. These things get complicated very quickly, and oh look," he pointed to the distance. "Big mining thing. Oh, I love a big mining thing. See, way better than Rio. Rio doesn't have a big mining thing,"
"Hold on," I frowned. "There's just two over there. Where am I?"
"Dunno," the Doctor looked at me curiously.
"We're not going to have a look, are we?" Amy continued.
"Let's go and have a look," the Doctor grinned. "Come on, you two, let's see what they're doing," and he dashed off.
"If he can't get us to Rio," Rory said irritably. "how's he ever going to get us back home?"
"Did you not see over there?" Amy pointed. "It all works out fine,"
"But what about me?" I pointed out.
"I'm sure you're okay," Amy responded as Rory said,
"After everything we've seen, we just drop back into our old lives? The nurse and the kissogram?"
"I guess," Amy pulled out a red box. "He's getting away,"
"Hang on," Rory intercepted. "What are you doing with that?"
"Engagement ring," Amy raised her eyebrow. "I thought you liked me wearing it,"
"Amy, you could lose it," Rory said seriously. "Cost a lot of money, that,"
