Dragging me along, we make our way towards the light, in which he was quickly leading me towards, I could sense his urgency of the matter. I guess the legend of Hybrids not liking outsiders was a fact and not a myth. He was adamant about getting me out of the woods. I could hear his warriors in the distance, some got close enough I could smell the musky scent. I squeezed his hand in fear as the growls began to ring around us, he let out a massive roar when we felt a warriors surround us. Without a second thought they backed off with no problem, it was surprising they listened to him, he must have minded linked them that I was his mate. Before I knew it, we were moving again, we came upon a gorgeous house. We run straight into the back of house that led straight to the kitchen. Slowing down we make our way to the front of the house, I was amazed with the size of it, it was the size of the pack house back in my pack. The house was beautiful it had modern but has a flare of classic elements to it.

Too caught up in looking at the house I didn't notice he left my side leaving alone in his main entrance. It wasn't until a throat was cleared that I was meet by a man who was just a little smaller looking then my mate. My eyes widen in fear as I stared at him, he growled in my direction and began to stand in a fighting stance as he stared me down watching my ever move. I took a step back which caused him to growl even more at me, I flinched back just to run into a chest, when I felt the sparks, I calmed down. My mate wrapped his arm around my shoulders trying to calm me down and protect me.

"Do you have to be an asshole and scare her like that?" My mate said to the man standing in front of us. Once the words left his mouth, his whole demeanor changed. The man laughed at us as he set down when he was holding on a table at the entrance.

"Oh, come Aiden you did the same to Cara. Also, how else am I supposed to welcome the new Luna into the pack?" He says with a laughing tone, but that all changed the minute I screamed at the two.

"LUNA?!?!" I turned to look at my mate freaking out. My heart rate picked up instantly as the words left my mouth.

"Thanks a lot Jackson!" My mate rubbed up and down his face in frustration.

"I'm sorry! I thought you would have told her! It's the first thing I told my mate, hey by the way I am the future beta of the hybrids."

"I am really questioning that choice right now." Aiden says with a little serious but more joking tone in his voice.

"Hey! No take backs!" I couldn't help but laugh at the two of them as the bickered like children. It was really helping me calm down watching them, the mood change was helping was well. I couldn't shake that feeling though that this whole event felt so familiar to me, but I couldn't put my finger on why. "Okay fine! I am sorry for spoiling the big news. Now can you please tell why she looks like she got hit by a mac truck!?"

"It's a long story not worth telling." I tell him as I think about how my face really looks right now. "I should heal in a week or so"

"A week? But you're a werewolf, wolves heal in a mere few hours." My mate stated with confusion and concerned. Jackson walked up to us concerned as well at my words.

"I haven't shifted yet. I have everything a wolf in human form has but no wolf to help heal me on the inside." Aiden brought me close to him kissing my head, I could tell he was feeling sorry for me but not because of me not having a wolf, it was the fact that I can't heal as fast because of it. Jackson could tell we were having a moment and decided to speak up.

"I'm going to get going. It was nice meeting you..." I look to him and realize I never told either of them of my name.

"Oh sorry, Everly, my name is Everly." They froze in place as I said my name. "Did I say something wrong?"
