"Mom."

I stand there in disbelief. She was here, she was standing right here in front of me. I feel a tear run down my cheek. I look at her like a new born baby looks at the world, confused and curious. I slowly walk over to her and stand at least five feet away from her. I look her up and down, studying her so I know that I'm not going crazy. She was wearing black skinny jeans with ankle boot heels. She had on a simple black blouse that looked like it was made of silk, she had a simple dark gray blazer over it. Her hair was looked like its natural form, which was down and wavy. It went down to about right above her boobs, and was the same color as mine. Her eyes were piercing blue, like mine. It was kind of freaking it was as if I was looking at an older version of me. I move a little bit closer to her and see what she would do. To say I was surprised at what she, doesn't amount to everything I was feeling.

She pulled me in for a hug, a hug that was probably long overdue. I wrapped my arms around her, holding on tight as if I was going to lose her. I could tell she was crying from the little noises she was making. I hate that she was, because now I was crying. Well at least I know where I get all my crazy emotions from. Pulling back a little she looked at me, her eyes were red and a little bit of makeup was running down her cheeks.

"You how much you grown, only bad part is you got your fathers stubbornness." I couldn't help but laugh at her. "Oh I have missed you and your father so much."

"Why were gone? Where did you go?" She lets out a sigh, as if she knew I was going to ask her these things.

"Let's got to the kitchen you are probably hungry, I'll make you something and I will tell you." At that very moment my stomach decided to join in and growl. "You also got your appetite from your father too."

Sitting down on the stool next to the island, I watch my mom. She pulls out a lot of things from the cabinets, and fridge. I watched as she took out chicken, vegetables, pasta, and other stuff. I watched as she worked like the speed of lightening. She pulled out multiply pots and made something. I was surprised when she set it in front of me. I reach over and take a fork, I stabbed the chicken and took a huge bite. Mom gave me that look, I smile at her and began to chew. To say it was amazing is an understatement of what I was eating right now. It was the best thing on earth, I mean how do you get food to taste this good.

When I was done eating I took her up to Aiden and I's room to talk. She told me the story of how her and dad meet. He used to be a dork until he shifted and now look at him he is a badass hybrid. She said that they used to be inseparable and no one could get them to leave the house. I cringed at the thought of my parents having sex. My mom saw me cringed and just laughed at me, it was nice to hear her laugh it was not a loud laugh or a soft one it was just in the middle, and it was the perfect laugh. I know I get that from her. She told me all these stories of her family and how she travelled the world before she came to the hybrids. How her dad was a hybrid who loved to be in a pack but her mother was a hybrid who hated packs, she didn't like having someone who was in charge of her. Her mom tried to keep her away from our pack but once she found dad that all changed.

She was sixteen when she had me, dad was eighteen. Even thought they were young, dad's family was there to help them, so they didn't care that they were so young. Throughout her whole pregnancy dad wouldn't leave her side, she said it was annoying at times but just to keep him happy she dealt with him. Dad being over protective, doesn't sound like him at all, note the sarcasm. The day I was born she said it was the happiest day of her life. Even the day she found dad didn't amount to the day I was born. She said dad wouldn't let me out of his sight. I was his little princess, but mom knew better than not to spoil me. I'm glad they didn't I did not want to be like that bitch Megan, you can just tell she was a spoiled brat.

It was nice and all to talk about this but there was one question burning through my mind. Why did she leave when I was taken? Where has she been for ten years?

She must have known what I was thinking cause then she told me why she has been gone for ten years. The day I was taken was the day she went to go visit her parents, she was having lunch with them when a huge pain hit her chest. It was like someone was ripping her heart out of her chest. Not even saying goodbye to her family, she ran all the way home to find dad in a shear panic. She said when she looked him dead in the eye she knew you were gone. She said she lost her mind, throwing things and screaming for hours on end. When they gave up the search for you had it been a year sense I was taken. She was never the same, so she left not to just leave but to find me herself. She searched everywhere even the pack hat took me but they hide me well. For ten years she searched and never found me, until one day I found everyone else. But now she's back and she isn't leaving anytime soon. I need my mom, my real mom, not some phony I was believed to have been real, the one that was killed and her death was blamed on me.

All of the sudden she jumps up from the bed and goes over the window. She scares me half to death, and make me fall off the bed. "Your father and the others are walking up the path."

"Wait how can you hear them from this far away?"

"Over the years I learned to heighten my senses to find you, I can see and hear better then everyone here. Now come on I need to see your father we have been apart for too long." She takes my hand and drags me down stairs. We get to the back door and she slowly opens it. I could tell she was nervous so I slam open the door and drag her outside. All the boys froze in spot and just looked stunned at who they saw. I moved away from my mom and went over to Aiden, he too his attention away from my mom and put it all on me.

He leans down to give me a nice long kiss. "Now you're the one who gets to explain stuff." He looks away from me and at my parents. I look at them and almost cry, they were holding on to each other for dear life. When they finally let go my mom looks back at me and smiles. I get out of Aiden's hold and run over to them. They bring me into a hug and hold me tight. Everything was okay now, I was finally with my right family. Finally with people who love me and won't let anything hurt me.

I was finally home.
