6. Yasuhiro "Hiro" Hagakure Boyfriend Headcanons

A/N: Hiro is underrated. 'Nuff said.

What are his nicknames for you?

Hiro likes to call you by nicknames but he doesn't get super creative with them unless there's something about you that really stands out to him. That isn't to say that he doesn't like calling you by a nickname, he's just kind of basic. He mostly calls you 'babe' or 'baby'. He prefers it when you call him by a nickname instead since you do a much better job than him at coming up with nicknames. He prefers ironic or funny nicknames over romantic ones (not to say that he doesn't like romantic ones, he just gets tired of them after a while). You called him 'Stinky' once and he acted all heartbroken and sad... or at least you thought it was an act. Mans was actually hurting that day.

What type of kisses does he give?

Hiro is pretty casual when it comes to kisses. If it's in public the most he'll do is cheek or forehead kisses. In private he's more open to kisses. He likes kissing your forehead the most because it's so easily accessible. He likes it when you kiss his lips since, similar to Mondo's headcanons, it's a sign of intimacy that is usually reserved for an s/o. He normally has a bit of trouble with people so he's very happy to be loved by someone like you. Also! When he's done kissing you he rubs his stubble on you and that shit is SCRATCHY. Also also! Hiroko loves you :)

What's his ideal date?

He likes shopping dates. Hiro is a bad spender as it is, so as long as you do it together it counts as a date! He buys a bunch of supplies for his fortune-telling and explains the use to you, it's actually pretty interesting! However, the dude has never even heard of common sense and buys way more than he should so you're going to have to keep an eye on his spending. He once tried to buy $400 worth of incense. It wasn't even the good kind. Please stop him. Please. He claims it's necessary for his fortune-telling but the dude is only right 30% of the time anyway.

Is he physically affectionate?

I mean... kind of? Hiro is honestly a pretty 'meh' boyfriend. He likes physical affection but isn't affectionate very often. He likes hugs though! He also likes to cuddle but he sucks at it. He tends to fall asleep while cuddling and star-fishes on the bed. It's kind of hard to cuddle with him in that state. Just... just curl up to him like a cat or something. That'll work. If he stays awake and manages to properly cuddle he likes to lay in between your legs and rest his head on your stomach or chest. He likes it when you play with his hair while cuddling!!

What's his love language?

His love language is mostly physical. Now that he's actually dating someone he has an excuse to get kind of touchy. There are also lots of easy opportunities to touch you in casual yet meaningful ways such as holding your hand or putting his arm around your shoulder. As mentioned before, he's a cuddler so that also plays into his physical love language.

Does he get jealous?

Hiro does get jealous, but he doesn't really express it in a drastic way like Mondo or Leon. When Hiro is jealous, he gets quiet and mopey. He'll want to spend some time away from you even if you literally didn't do anything. You're welcome to go and try to cheer him up. He'll be sitting in the corner, sulking. Just tell him you love him and spend some more time with him. It should perk him up a little.

How does he recover from arguments?

Hiro doesn't do very well with arguments. If you get into a spat with him, he'll want some time away with you to sort out his feelings. When he comes back he won't want to talk about the problem between you two and would much rather opt to sweep it under the rug and forget about it, but there will always be some tension between you two if you don't clear up the issue. The dude is a coward so you're going to have to take the lead in recovering from the argument. He goes quiet for most of it. His apology is kind of half-assed, but he just doesn't know how to express his regret. Be patient with him, he's really trying to be better for you.
