Chapter 2: Hunk Garret

Lance got out of the car and walked up to Hunk's front door. He was about to press the doorbell button, but the door swung open to reveal Hunk himself. "Hey buddy!" Hunk said to Lance and then immediately hugged him. Lance laughed and hugged Hunk back. "I missed you!" Hunk said and let go of Lance. "I missed you too." Lance looked down at the ground and then back up at Hunk.

"I'm sorry for not coming to your birthday parties and other events. I'm..sorry that I haven't called you even though I had plenty of days off with nothing to do.." Lance looked back at the ground, but immediately felt big arms wrap around him. "Hey, it's okay. I'm just glad you're here now." Lance smiled softly and hugged Hunk again. He tried very hard not to cry, until he heard his friend crying.

"Are..Are you crying?!" Lance asked Hunk. Hunk just kept letting his tears go. Eventually Lance joined in on the crying, until someone came out of the house. They both stopped and looked at who it was. Shay. Lance wiped his tears, Hunk doing the same. "Why are you two crying?" Shay asked in her soft and sweet voice. Hunk shook his head and smiled. "Don't worry about it." Shay nodded and let them both go inside the house. They had a lot of catching up to do.

They talked for 3 hours and before they knew it, it was already dinner time. "Well, I should get going. I don't want to bother you two." Lance got up off the soft couch and smiled at the two lovebirds. "Are you sure? You can always stay and have dinner with us." Shay said to Lance, but Lance shook his head. "No no, it's alright! I've got some garlic knots waiting for me at home." Hunk nodded his head, letting his friend go back home.

It was a quite drive to Lance's house. Lance didn't bother turning the music on. He just wanted some peace and quiet. Well, he got just that until his phone went off. He had his phone connected to his car, so he just accepted the call with the press of a button near the radio. "Hello?" Lance asked the caller. He didn't know who it was because he didn't check the caller name. "Hey, Lance!" The voice sounded familiar..

He heard a dog bark in the background. "Hush BaeBae!" Ohhh it was Pidge! "Hi Pidge. What's up?" Lance said to Pidge. "Oh nothing much. Matt and I wanted to check up on you. Keith called and checked up on us so we figured we'd do the same with everyone else." Lance nodded his head knowing it made sense. "Oh cool." There was silence before he heard Matt's voice. "Hiya, Lance!" Lance smiled while looking at the road. He was a very responsible driver, believe it or not.

"Hi Matt! How're you?" Lance asked and immediately got a response. "I'm great! I've been helping out with my mom's plant research and helping my dad out as well. Pidge and I even created our own video game!" To Lance, this "video game" was music to his ears. "You should send me a copy!" He heard Matt laugh a bit and then said, "Will do!"

He heard shuffling before he heard Pidge's voice again. "Hey we're having a team meet up at the cafe if you want to join us. It's at one PM." Lance nodded his head and responded. "Sounds great! I'll see you there." He heard BaeBae bark again. "Great! See ya there!" He heard Matt and Pidge say at the same time. He hung up and continued his drive home. He couldn't wait to see the rest of the team. Wait...the rest of the team..

"Is Keith going to show up?" He asked himself outloud and started panicking. He didn't know why he was like this. Why did it feel like there was butterflies in his stomach? Why did it feel like his heart was going to explode? Wait..this sounds like something out of a movie..is it..no way.. "Do I love Keith?" Lance whispered to himself, before blushing. No way...this can't be true..right???

HAHAH once again I don't know how to end chapters so get this random ending! Wahhahahahah
