His Desire, the book, continues with Haider's journey taking an interesting turn. First, it was Alina who had a roller- coaster ride, and now, it's Haider who is going to get into the ride of his life.

Mikael worked on the PC but got distracted when someone placed a newspaper next to the keyboard. He looked up and found Alina smiling at him. She pointed at the "property for rent" column. He shrugged at her.
She straightened, - 'I have thought we should shift to live-in so that we get to spend time together and explore our feelings.' – she gestured with her hands, - 'and see if we are compatible.' Alina explained and looked nervously at him. Mikael looked skeptic but she convinced him. Then, she forwarded him paper and circled a few advertisements she thought would be good.
'Alina, how long will we, um, stay in live-in?' Mikael asked, placing an arm on the table.
She had an instant reply, - 'At least a month.' – she paused, placed her palm over his and gripped his hand in a gentle grip, - 'I am sure we will stay together for a long, long time. Forever.'- She smiled at him and he smiled back feeling much more assured. Mikael sighed, nodding in response.
'I have a strong feeling about this, Mikael. About us.' She blinked lovingly at him and he agreed with her.
Jahangir sat at his desk browsing through the accounts of the company. The numbers were looking grim. He tapped his fingers impatiently on the glass table whilst glaring at the screen. There was a ring on his phone and agitatedly, he picked up the call.
'Jahangir!' Uzma's fanatic voice caused panic in him. He straightened in his seat and demanded to know if everything was alright. He felt his heart beating faster as his wife narrated about their daughter's attempted suicide.
'But why will she do that, Uzma? Can't you take care of her?' He thundered at her. But Uzma kept crying on the other side, - 'Now, why are you crying like a madwoman, take her to the doctor. I am coming there.' His hip hit the edge of the table, but he didn't care and rushed out of the cabin. On the way, he dashed into Banerjee, reprimanded him badly, and hurried to the elevator, leaving back a perplexed employee.
Gopi had a tough time navigating through the traffic, especially with his boss blasting him. Somehow, they reached the hospital and he breathed out a sigh of relief. Jahangir rushed to the reception and fervently enquired about his daughter.
When he walked through the corridor towards the ward where his daughter was kept, he met a weeping Uzma. She sat on one of the steel benches with the helm of her banarasi saree over her mouth. Her cries muffled into the cloth.
Jahangir hurried to her, grabbed her shoulder and shook her, - 'What happened? Where is Hania?' He demanded with urgency and rage. Uzma looked at him and began to cry even louder. On-lookers glanced at them with strange expressions. Jahangir held her shoulders and growled her, - 'Tell me, b****h, how is my daughter?' He fumed.
Just then, the doctor stepped out of the ward and Jahangir pushed away his wife. He cornered the doctor, - 'How is my daughter? Listen, doctor if anything happens to her I swear I will kill you.' He menacingly threatened him. The doctor pulled his hands away and sighed, pushing back his glasses with his index finger.
'Sir, there is no point in killing me. Your daughter over-dosed on sleeping pills, lots of it. I am sorry but she is critical. Chances are slim.' He informed and Jahangir felt his world shatter around him. He stood still and numb. The doctor walked by him, shaking his head.

Alina is truly privileged. She should think before she speaks. She had realized that Hania was disturbed, yet she had to blabber nonsense,
