My back stiffens and my hand starts to tremble. He wanted long distance. He wanted to make this work. "Cal..." I say, it barely comes out a whisper, he grabs my hand and I notice how small and pale I am next to him. We would make a stunning couple. The type people would stare at as they passed us on the street, he was broad, tan, and intimidating. I knew I was tall but I was also quite petite, he towered over me and it made me look almost delicate next to him. I liked that, the thought of looking fragile next to a boy I could easily fall in love with. All at once a series of could be images clouded my thoughts, Calum and I cuddled up watching movies, him playing bass while I edited videos, him holding my hand, the way he was now, as I showed him around New York. The idea was so picture perfect I knew it would never last but still I saw he and I tangled up on the couch listening to music and arguing over the lyrics. I looked into his beautiful eyes and thought how nice it would be having a date to things, a good, nice, polite, sweet, handsome, boy to introduce to my family at weddings and parties. He gave me a smirk and I was done for, my mind made for me for the second time today.

He walked me to my car and we stood for a moment, he leaned in to hug me and I surprised both of us by meeting him in the middle. I then popped onto my tiptoes and kissed him, his lips were soft and warm, it was not heated like Elizabeth and Luke's kisses but I knew it meant more. I loved that he also wanted to take things slow. I smiled into the kiss and I felt his lips curl upward as well. I pulled away only to have him pull me into a tight hug, he then kissed my forehead and opened my door. "What are you doing the rest of today?" He asked.

As it turns out Calum has never been ice skating. Elizabeth and I go all the time in the winter months but I've never been this close to summer. I pulled into the indoor ice rink with his car behind mine and I smiled, checking my hair in the mirror. I get out and then notice that I am in fact wearing a dress. Calum also notices and gives me a small smile pulling a red checkered flannel from the backseat of his car. I see black leggings on my passengers seat and smile, I'm already wearing socks, it must be my lucky day. He hands me the flannel and we fight for at least five minutes over who will pay for skating. "Calum. I get these. I already let you buy my lunch, please just let me get these dumb tickets?" "Ally, you ordered a salad is was practically free. This is on me." The teenage boy at the desk smiles at us, "you two are adorable." He says with a large dimpled smile, we both smile back at him and Calum pays the boy before I can stop him. We get our skates and Calum sits on a bench while u go into the bathroom and change.

I pull off the dress after locking the stall door and pull my leggings on, then I look at the flannel he balled up before giving to me. I straighten it out and hold it up by the shoulders, my god it's at least 5 sizes too big for me. I unbutton it and slip it on, my fingers quickly buttoning it back up and I am suddenly over whelmed by his sent. It's masculine but also spicy, the shirt is soft and well worn. It goes to my mid thigh and I roll the sleeves so they sit right above my elbow. I walk out of the bathroom and see Calum once again waiting for me playing on his phone, he looks up and his eyes widen. "You look better in that shirt than I ever have..." He trails off, blushing, "well," I say, "let's start shall we?" I ask giving him a sweet smile and cocking my head towards the door.
