17. ..Ab thak chuke hai ye Kadam..

"Jitna tujhm sabar hoga ...utna tumhari dua m asar hoga.."

He was on the shoot since past one hour but all he could do was look at his phone hoping for it to pop a message..he was tapping his feet in anticipation....he had a long day today or he would have gone himself as well..Since last night after Trisha's daily call on update about his maa's health he was in double mind whether what he was doing would be justice to this girl who is looking after his mother back at home seflessly....but it did not take him more than 10 minutes to decide that he could not always do justice to everyone and make Shehnaaz and their us bear the cost of it..he knew he had to find her, he has to just meet and talk to her..thats all he knew at the moment, he does not care what is right or wrong, he was done doing that..he dialled a number.."Dr. Bagchi"..he picked after few rings..he knew him from last time he came here with Shehnaaz, they both got very close to him and his wife..he talked to him and got details of best Private Investigator here...he immediately called the PI giving him all details of Shehnaaz he could and asking him to find all about her asap...Since then all he has been doing is looking at his phone waiting for an update from him, every passing minute making him more restless....he was called for shot bringing him out of his thoughts .......he knew he had to focus..it was a big movie and opportunity for him, not that he cared about his career right now..but he knew who will be the happiest for his success and he knew he could walk miles to make her happy and proud, this was just a movie...

"Sidharth dekh...Amitabh Sir ki ye nayi web series aayi..wow yar..abhi bhi vo kitne amazing lagte hai na...." she said looking at the screen adoringly..

"Haan..unki baat hi alag hai..he is the 'Star of Millenuim'...koi match hi nahi hai unka.." he said holding her from shoulder pulling her in him, looking at the screen with her..

"Hn..tuje ek bat bolu..ek man h mera..jab se maine tuje bb ki trophy jeete hue dekha hai tab se.."

"Kya.." he said scrolling on the phone in her hand..

"I want ki tu bhi aisi hi kisi badi movie m aye....or maybe Amitabh Sir ke sath aaye...haye haye soch kar hi itni khushi ho rahi hai muje...m to rone lg jaungi tuje unke sath dekh kar.."

"Acha" he asks kissing her temple lovingly...

"Haan m sabse zyada proud or happy hongi us din.." she says wrapping her hands around his torso...while he just hums kissing top of her head smiling at how much his life has changed..the dreams he also did not weave for his success, someone else is weaving them for him...she herself was an actor....it was very small thing but it touched him as to how she sees such dreams on his behalf praying for them to come true..he truly was blessed in every way possible..

"Maiya..aapka face aj swell kyu lgra.." Samar asked as Shehnaaz served him...with a fear in his voice..

"Aisa kuch nahi hai puttu..tu khana kha dekh Samia appi ne biryani bheji hai..psand hai na tuje.."

"Haan" he says nodding and eating quitely...

"Maiya aaj m aapko sulau jaise aap sulate ho muje.." Samar says he knew his mother won't tell but she needed him and that scared him..but he was always strong in front of his mother, he knew all they have is each other..he lightly touched his mother's head making it lie in his lap..while he patted it softly...Shehnaaz was clenching her jaw as her heart sank in her stomach, she felt so overwhelmed as to how much her little boy had grown up..how strong he was, she knew she had to hold back herself, she could not cry in front of him..she was all he had and she could not break him with her tears...she feared if she had scarred him..the guilt wrapped her as she felt slow pats of Samar on her head whilst he stroked her hair like she did for him..she just smiled as how he was breath of fresh air in her mourning life, she could not thank god enough for blessing her with him when darkness was all that engulfed her life...
