"Kaid hu kabse bechaini ki diwaaron mein....khol du ab zara sukun ki khidkiyaan..."
"Samar..beta aise nahi karte..he is your papa na.."she says tying his tie on his neck...
"Who was never there on fathers day.." he replied pouting with a straight face
"Samarr.." Shehnaaz said trying to be annoyed..
"Maiyaa..please I am getting late..breakfast de do.." Samar says not giving in..while Shehnaaz just sighs walking in kitchen..
Sidharth wakes up from noises coming from outside, it takes a moment for him to realize where he was, he recalls last night incidents as smile creeps on his face, he looks around as he walks out of his bed looking for her..when he sees her standing in kitchen dressed in a simple nighty, while she talked to Samar sitting on dining table who seemed to be putting somethings in his bag, he just leans on the door as he sees the mother son blabbering things to each other and his eyes brimming at the sight he had lost all his hopes on....he had a hard time accepting that he has a son, but he also goes to school gave him another mixed feeling altogether, he was happy to see him go school ofcourse, but a part of him cried knowing he never saw him growing up to be able to go to school, his words echoed his ears 'He is late'...he straightened himself as he reminisced those words, as he took heavy steps making his way towards him not knowing exactly what he should do..
"Hi.." he said seating besides Samar who just looks at him and then gets back to his bag, Shehnaaz looks up from kitchen towards him and just nods at him encouraging him..
"Main drop kar deta hu aaj Samar ko.." he asks softly easing in..
"No..I go by bus..." Samar says as Shehnaaz glares at him while she places a plate of poha in front of him to eat and a glass of milk...she goes back going in kitchen and brings a plate of peanuts putting it alongside..he non chalantly puts all the peanuts in it hogging on it, while Sidharth just chuckles at Shehnaaz sitting besides him looking at him eating like his own self but habits like his mother...she hits his arm as Samar finishes his breakfast and Sidharth just sits there absorbing every ounce of his innocent face, he had a long nose like him, his cheeks were squishy and slight pink like his mother, he ran his hands every now and then in his hair like he did..he was amazed at how he had no hope in him yesterday and now he is a father of the most adorable child he has seen ever, atleast to him......
He gets up picking his bag..and looks at his mother..she comes forward hugging him as she smothers his face with kisses..and he scrunches his nose at it but then plants a kiss on her cheek.."Bye Maiya.." he says softly..."
"Bye puttu.."...she says and then looks at Sidharth who was just gazing at the duo with all the love in his watery eyes.."Papa ko bhi" she says with a pleading face while Samar sighs .."Bye.." he says looking at him...as he just gets overwhelmed at the fact that his son talked to him first time.."Bye mera bacha.." Sidharth says running his hands on his face and setting his hair as he just looks at him with his wide orbs, he had a longing for his father ofcourse but he was hurt, he just stepped back as he waved at his mother again while she went till door waving at him till he sat in bus, she turned around to find Sidharth still staring at the retreating bus till it disappeared from their sight..
She just closes the door as she looks at his pained face, she moves forward hugging him rubbing his back as his hand laid on sides..."Bacha hai vo Sidharth..gussa hai..thik ho jayega.." she says calming him..
"Uska gussa jayaz hai .." he says putting one hand on her back and his chin on top of her head.."Mai nahi tha uske liye Shehnaaz.."..."Muje hona chahiye tha.."he says almost close to tears..
