Reaper Sans x Goddess Reader (Part 1)

(You're the goddess of life, and yes that makes you and reaper the opposite just like Him and Toriel, something inspired me soooo- enjoy this one shot, sorry I haven't been updating this book for a while ;-;)

I watched as the little children played tag, Frisk then ran to me and hid behind me as Chara and Asriel chased them which made me giggle.

"Come here Frisk!" "No!" Frisk ran away in time before Chara nor Asriel was able to tag them.

I layed down and closed my eyes, soon I heard the running stop but they were still giggling and laughing which made me confused, I opened my eyes and sat up and turned around only to find Chara and Asriel laying on Frisk.

"Get off! You're squishing me to death!" Frisk yelled while throwing Chara and Asriel a playful glare, they just shook their heads.

"Ms. Y/N please help me!" Frisk yelled which made me giggle, I stood up and walked over to them, picking up the three dreemurr siblings.

I put them down and Asriel yawned, I smiled. "Tired?" Asriel nodded while rubbing his eyes, after a few seconds Frisk and Chara also yawned.

I sat down on the bed and patted my lap, they got the sign and layed on my lap, I wrapped my wings around them.

"Can you sing for us Ms. Y/N...?" Chara asked, I smiled a bit before nodding.

When the light is running low
And the shadows start to grow

I looked down at the three children who had fallen asleep, I smiled before looking out the window at the midnight sky.

I heard someone mumbling something from a far, I knew the voice. I gently and carefully layed the kids down on the bed and walked out.

I flew the the voice and stopped behind them, he mumbled something again. "Why do people love me, but hate you?" I asked, he flinched before turning around and calmed down as he saw it was just me.

"Because you're a beautiful lie and I'm a painful truth..." He replied as he looked away, his voice cracking a bit.

I sighed and walked over to him, He noticed and quickly stepped back. "D-don't... I don't w-wanna hurt you..." He said as I noticed tears forming on the corner of his eyes.

"I don't care," I said as I pulled him into a hug "love is worth the pain." I added, I then felt something wet drip on my wings. I knew that he was crying, He hugged back tightly as I rubbed circles on his back.

He then suddenly pulled away, I looked at him confused. "I'm sorry..." He said with a chuckle at the end, "For what?" He hesitate for a second before opening his mouth. "I..." He closed his mouth as hesitation took over him again.

"All this time... I've been so afraid, but at the one moment when we laid our eyes on each other, you showed me so much kindness, courage and love, you managed to help me let everything go. And I just... I just wish I could explain your eyes, and how the sound of your voice give me butterflies. How your smile makes my heart skip a beat and how everytime I'm with you, I feel so complete." He rested his forehead on mine as I blushed a bit. "But if you don't want it, then I'll let it go."

I smiled a little as I reached up to wipe the tears on his face, "Letting go doesn't mean giving up, but rather accepting that there are things that cannot be." I said as I kissed where his nose should be, his eyes(or eye-) lit up and he hugged me which made me giggle.

He pulled away and we stared into each other's eyes, "I love you, Y/N. I always have." I smiled, "I love you too, Reaper. Nothing can change that."

He looked at me a little shocked since I always called him 'Death', this was the first time he heard me call him Reaper.

Although I may have to ask what name he prefers to be called so I don't make him feel bad about something. "Hey Reaper, what do you prefer to be called?" I asked, he smiled before holding my hands into his.

"Anything is fine, what about you? What do you want me to call you?" I thought for a second, "Up to you." I replied to which he smirked, I gave him a confused look.

He leaned a few inches close to my face and said "Then may I call you Mrs. Death?~" I blushed a bit but giggled as I kissed his cheek.

"Call me whatever you want, you've already stolen my heart." I said ad I hugged him, he hugged back and nuzzled his head on the crook of my neck.

"I better return to my place, Tori or Paps may be looking for me. I'll see you around, my angel." He kissed my hand "I'll see you later, my dear." He smiled before disappearing, I opened my wings and flew back to the house and quietly opened the door.

I walked to where the kids were and they were still asleep, I smiled and walked over to them.

Then suddenly I started to feel sleepy, which is weird since us gods and goddesses don't really need sleep.

I started to feel lightheaded and I got up and layed on the couch, my eyes getting heavier until everything went dark.

(Oh no, what happened to Y/N?
Let's hope she'll be okay!
