Sans x Child Reader

"BROTHER HURRY UP WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!" Papyrus said impatiently.

"Just a sec Bro." Sans said as He tied His shoe laces.

He finally finished and Papyrus jumped up and down like a little kid, Sans chuckled as they went out of the house to watch Mettaton's live show.

Even though Sans didn't like Mettaton, He came along anyways just to make sure His Brother will be alright.

He didn't pay much attention to the show, He just sat there, drinking some ketchup.

"I'll be right back, watch over Paps for Me for a sec okay?" Sans said as He stood up.

"Sure thing!" Undyne and Alphys said.

Sans walked out of the show room and sighed at the peace and quiet outside.

That was till He heard sobbing, He was a bit curious so He went to follow to noise.

As He got closer, the more the sobs got louder. When He finally reached the source of the noise, there was a little kid.

It seemed to be a Male/Female, Sans approach then slowly.

Sans coughed as to get their attention, they turned around and looked at Sans with a scared yet confused look.

"Hey there Kid, You shouldn't be out here this late." Sans said, the little kid stood there, staring at Sans.

"Y-you're not...g-gonna hurt m-me?" The little kid asked, Sans seemed a bit shocked about their question.

"No, of course not. I would never hurt a little kid." Sans said as He gave them a soft and warm smile. 'Unless I have to, that is.' He said in His mind.

Sans held out His hand for the little kid to Shake, they looked at His hand before hesitantly shaking it.

"My name's Sans, Sans the skeleton, what's Yours?" Sans asked as He knelt down.

"Y/N, nice to meet You Sans!" Y/N said cheerfully as if they weren't even crying before.

"Nice to meet Ya' too Kiddo, but where're Your parents?" Sans asked, to which the little kid looked down.

Sans got the message and felt a bit guilty, till He got an idea.

"Hey, wanna go watch the show?" Sans asked to change the subject, Y/N's head immediately shot up.

They nodded quickly which made Sans chuckle, He picked up Y/N and stood up and made their way back to the others.

When they entered the announcer had just got on stage, probably to announce that the next one is about to start.

Sans went back to His Friends and sat down, still holding Y/N. Papyrus, Frisk, Chara, Undyne, Alphys, Toriel, Flowey, Muffet and Asgore looked at Sans with a sign of confusion.

"Went out, heard sobs, followed and checked it out, found Y/N, asked them if they wanted to come, and yeah, that's all." Sans explained lazily.

Papyrus's eyes lit up as He gave Sans the puppy dog eyes, Sans chuckled and handed Y/N to Him and they immediately cuddled each other.

Y/N and Papyrus giggled, it was interrupted when the lights went off, then the stage lights turned on, meaning that the next show was about to start.

~Time Skip bought by boredom~

The show was over, Everyone loved the show, Sans didn't really pay attention much to it but was still impressed a tiny bit since He watched at least a few parts.

However, Sans was still curious on why You were out there crying. He wanted to ask but he was afraid that explaining it would make You cry.

So He never bothered to ask about it, after the show had ended Everyone else went home while Y/N and the others had went to a restaurant for dinner, and after that Y/N had fallen asleep just when they were about half way home.
