Dream Sans x Pregnant Reader

This may be short, I don't really have any ideas for this one TwT
And again, I know this request was held onto for a while now but at least they're here, right?- ;v;

~Dream's POV~

I paced back and forth as I tried my best not to panic or worry, I managed to calm down and not panic but it was almost impossible not to worry. Sure, we were excited about having our first child and we knew the process of giving birth can be painful but it still got me worried.

Y/N wanted kids and I was worried, but if it makes her happy then I can't really stop her, can I? She said that she wanted a boy and a girl, we didn't know the gender yet since we wanted it to be a surprise. And today's the day we find out what our first child's gender is, we were excited.

I smiled a little as I remember how excited she was when she found out she was pregnant, of course, I was too. We honestly couldn't wait until today, even if the process is painful, giving life to newborn children is good, right?

I sat down and held my head, failing as my worry grew. I didn't know if it was done and they were cleaning the baby or it's still in process. Once the door opened I immediately looked up to see the doctor, "Everything is fine now, You may come in and see your child and wife." I smiled as I got up and walked inside the room.

My smile widen and tears started to swell as Y/N was holding our child, she also had tears in her eyes. I walked over and knelt down next to her, she smiled as she looked ar me. Her eyes looked tired but also showed happiness, "Say hello to your father little one.." She mumbled as I wrapped an arm around her shoulder and kissed her forehead.

I chuckled a bit as our kid held my finger, "What should we name him..?" My wife asked tiredly, "How about mateo?" She smiled, "Did you know that name means a gift from god?" She nodded, "Mhm, It's perfect." She kissed my cheek as she handed mateo to me. I smiled and hugged both of them, Y/N's eyes getting heavy until she fell asleep.

We stayed there for two days to make sure there wasn't any problems, but we were home now. Nightmare and the others greeted us as Horror hugged Y/N, "Welcome home sis!" "Thanks Horror, glad to be back." She hugged back, we entered the castle as Nightmare and Horror played with their newborn nephew while Y/N and I watched happily.

Even though Nightmare didn't like positive feelings he was still happy for us, Mateo was touching his cheek, then he did something unexpected. He changed back to his passive form and stuck his tongue out playfully, our eyes widen in surprise. "I managed to help him regain his passive form." Ink mentioned, I immediately got up and hugged him. "Thank you thank you thank you!" I repeatedly thanked him as he hugged back, chuckling. "No problem."

Nightmare looked like he was having fun, which made us all happy. "It's been a while, it feels different being back into this form." He said as he kept playing with Mateo, "I know, everything feels different." Dust mentioned as he kissed Horror's cheek. "Jesus, get a room." Nightmare growled, as Horror chuckled a bit. "Get a girlfriend." Dust said, Horror smacked the back of his head and glared at him. "Ouch, that hurts." Nightmare said with sarcasm.

Error rolled his eyes and dropped a puppet tied to his string for Nightmare, he looked up at Error and smiled as he gently took the puppet and gave it to his nephew. It was a puppet of me, "Ruru, come here and give me a hugggg" Ink said as he opened his arms, Error sighed and jumped off from his strings and hugged Ink.

Error managed to calm his haphephobia but any sudden touches can still glitch him out, "By the way, where's Killer and Cross?" Y/N asked, "They're out buying grocerie-" before blue could finish the front door swung open and an angry and tired cross stomped towards the kitchen with five bags. "Cross? What's wrong?" I asked as I got up and helped him with the bags. "Killer didn't help at all." Cross complained with a small growl at the end. "I can see that." We placed the bags on the counter and I pat Cross's back.

"Where's Killer then?" Cross pointed at the door, I turned to see Killer enter the castle with Outer. "We're back!" Killer said happily, "Yeah no sh--" Cross stopped when I give him a look, he covered his mouth and apologized. "It's fine, wanna see him?" Cross's eyes lit up as he ran back to the others as if he wasn't even tired and pissed a few seconds ago.

I went back and hugged Y/N from behind, she kissed my cheek as I kissed hers. "Are you two planning on having more?" Nightmare asked as if he didn't want anymore children in the castle, "If the next one comes out as a girl then nope, we just want a boy and a girl." Y/N said as she held my hand.

"Alright- but what if it doesn't end up as a girl?" Dust asked, "We might just adopt one actually, even if she's gonna be older than her brother then it's fine." Nightmare's expression said 'Please do' as in please adopt an older one, probably because he doesn't want any baby crying in the middle of the night.

~10 Years Later, Y/N's POV~

"Mateo! Give me back my hoodie!" Ruka(If that's your name feel free to change it) yelled as they chased Mateo, "No! It's mine now!" Ruka was three when my husband, Dream and I adopted them, Ruka is non binary and thirteen, Mateo is nine, his birthday is soom. He and Ruka played for the whole day, right now we were just waiting for Dream to finish getting ready for us to go out for dinner to surprise Mateo.

It was almost midnight, and Mateo was excited. He didn't know about our surprise yet which was good. Nightmare, Error, Ink, Cross, Killer, Outer, Outer paps, Dust, Horror, Horror paps, Blue and Swap paps were gonna be there too. Mateo hasn't seen Outer, Horror nor Blue's papyruses but they've seen him so we wanted it to be a surprise for him.

"Alright, I'm read--" Dream paused when he saw Ruka tackle Mateo to the ground laughing, "what did I miss?" Dream asked, Ruka got up and helped Mateo up as I stood up from the sofa and walked over to him, kissing his cheek as we both smiled. "Nothing much, just Mateo stealing-" "Borrow!" Mateo corrected with a playful pout, which made us chuckle. "Sorry, “Borrowing” Ruka's hoodie." I said as Mateo hid behind Dream as Ruka crossed their arms and playfully rolled their eyes.

"Fineeee, you can keep it." Ruka walked over and pat his head, "I guess that's my birthday gift for you." "Thank you!" Mateo ran around, "Alright, let's go! We don't wanna be late don't we?" Dream said as he pat both Ruka and Mateo's head. We went out of the house and to the garage, I sat in the front seat as Dream sat in the driver's seat while Mateo and Ruka sat in the backseat.

I adjusted the mirror while Dream started the engine, I looked at Ruka and Mateo from the mirror, Mateo was resting his head on Ruka's shoulder as they looked out the window. I smiled as well as Dream, Dream slowly backed the car out of the garage and once there was enough space, he drove off to Mateo and Ruka's favorite restaurant.

As soon as we reached it there was only five more minutes before midnight, we got out of the car and Mateo hugged Ruka which made it kinda impossible for them to walk. "Mateo let go!" Ruka said as they chuckled, Mateo didn't listen. "Come on kids!" Dream and I said as Dream picked up Mateo from Ruka and held his hand.

"Is Uncle Nightmare and Uncle Horror gonna be there?" Mateo asked as we approached the door, I smiled when I saw them already. "Of course! They wouldn't want to miss out on any of your birthdays now, wouldn't they?" Mateo giggled.

We entered and went over to the table, Mateo immediately ran to his Uncles while Ruka waved at them, "Hello Uncle Nightmare! Hello Uncle Horror!" Mateo greeted as he hugged them both, Dream, Ruka and I smiled as we sat down. Nightmare handed Mateo to me as I covered his eyes, Nightmare signalled the three with his tentacles and they approached us from behind.

Mateo was confused but didn't struggle to get my hands off his eyes, Dream did a countdown with his fingers and once it dropped from one I released my hands and Mateo looked up at me confused, he then looked at Nightmare who was pointing behind us.

He turned around and looked up, "Meet your other uncles!" Dream said as Mateo's eyes lit up and hugged them, we all laughed and smiled at the sight. We spent the whole night there since the restaurant was open for twenty four hours, we got some sleep during the afternoon so we weren't very tired by the time we went home.

I was happy with my husband, my two older brothers and my two children, I wouldn't trade this family for anything else.
