With guidance from C. Margaret Gleave and Katie Batten, Curative Workshop of Racine was running smoothly under Lyle Zielke.
Before becoming the new Executive Director, Lyle had been working at Curative Workshop of Racine for 21 years already. It takes a lot of time, experience, and effort to become the head honcho. You have to know the ins and outs of the company you work for, as well as the industry that company is apart of, and after over two decades, along with his education in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the right guidance, Lyle knew he had enough moxie, knowledge, and heart to take on such a challenging role.
Besides his dedication to working at Curative Workshop of Racine, like Katie, he was also very involved with his community. He served on the Board of Directors for Lincoln Lutheran Home, sang in the church choir and volunteered as a mentor at Wadewitz Elementary School, and volunteered for the R.E.S.T. program and Community Meals program at St. Patrick's Church. He was a go-getter with a knack for helping people just like Katie, so needless to say, he fit right in.
