Mission 5: (Rewrite)

(Y/n)'s POV

I let myself take a break because after that the demon that just left us.  Dante looks at me before he kisses my forehead, "You feeling better?" Dante asks me.  I looked at Dante before telling him, "Yeah I am fine. Just a little dizzy from being choked on by that demon." I said to Dante.  Dante looks at me before he tells me, "Well, I am just glad that you are safe and sound." Dante says to me.  I just gave Dante a small smile on my face before I just let my eyes closed for a bit before I started to get up slowly.

Dante helps me up, but I was a little dizzy from that demon fight.  Dante helps me to balance myself before he grabs me from falling down on the floor, "(Y/n). You can get on my back." Dante says to me.  I looked at Dante before telling him, "Dante...? I don't want to burden you." I said to Dante.  Dante just shows me his small smile before he tells me, "(Y/n). I don't think you are a burden. I always think that you are a strong woman." Dante says to me with a small smile on his face.  I smiled at Dante before Dante lowers down to let me get on his back, "Go ahead." Dante says to me.  I just smiled at Dante before I got on Dante's back before I wrapped my arms around Dante's neck before I wrapped my legs around Dante's waist.

Dante gets back up before he touches my hand before he asks me, "You okay?" Dante asks me.  I just moved my head on his neck before telling him, "Yeah, I am okay." I said to Dante with a little tired tone in my voice.  Dante chuckles at me before he whispers to me, "(Y/n), you can sleep on my back, you deserve it." Dante says to me.  I just looked at Dante before telling him, "You sure?" I ask Dante.  Dante glances back at me before he tells me, "Yeah, you have been helping me out and you deserve some rest." Dante said to me.  I just smiled at Dante before telling him, "Alright." I said to Dante with a small smile on my face.  I lay my head on Dante's shoulder before I fell asleep.

Dante's POV

Once (Y/n) fell asleep on my shoulder.  I jumped down back on the ground before I grabbed an item before I realized that it was like running out of time, "Damnit." I muttered out to myself.  I put the item away before I noticed something was wrong, 'Something is not right.' I said to myself in my head.  I looked around the area before I saw that shadow demon that looks like panther tries to attack me and (Y/n), but I was able to get me and (Y/n) away from the demon.

The shadow demon started to jump up and tried to lay an attack on us, but I was able to get (Y/n) away from the shadow demon.  I grabbed my sword before I started to attack the demon before avoiding his attacks, but I do forget that using my sword would only get me hit, so I used my guns before firing it at the shadow demon before it showed it's sphere now, so I used my sword to attack it.  The shadow demon was going to attack me again, but I dodged out of the way, so me and (Y/n) don't get hurt at all.  I noticed (Y/n) was snoring, "See. This is why I let you sleep behind my back." I whisper back to (Y/n).

(Y/n) was still snoring before I looked back at the shadow demon before I fired the shotgun at the demon before it started to show the sphere again and I used my sword to hit the shadow demon again, but this time I was able to get rid of the shadow demon again.  The shadow demon is now dead before I started running back at the other times that the demon from earlier teleported away from us to try to fight him.  I was able to jump from the little ledge before I jumped up before I started walking to the hole that was down now.  I jumped down before I opened the doors before I was back in the bedroom, but I didn't have time to stay in the room.

I ran towards the other doors before I opened them real quick.  Once I opened the doors I saw those hoodie demons with the big scissors coming near us, "I don't have time with you guys." I said to the demons.  I jumped down on the floor to see the door was messing something, so I put the item on the door before I opened the door real quick before I closed it quick to make sure those demons didn't get me or (Y/n).

I felt movement on my neck before I heard someone just groan at this, "Ugh... How long did I fall asleep?" (Y/n) ask me.  I glance back at (Y/n) before telling her, "Like probably 10 or 9 minutes." I said to (Y/n) with an unsure tone in my voice.  (Y/n) just yawns at this before she tells me, "It's better than nothing." (Y/n) mutters out to herself.  I just chuckled at her before telling her, "You are so adorable (Y/n)." I said to (Y/n) with a small smile on my face.  (Y/n) just smiles at me before she kisses my cheek before I grab her hand and kiss her hand before smiling at her.

Author note: I am not going to lie but when I played Devil May cry 1 and on mission 5 was a quick chapter, I was like, 'how come we never had a short chapter in Devil May Cry 1' 😂😂 but I do mission 6 because this mission was short.
