The Journey Continues: Devil May Cry 1 (Dante x reader) Book 2: Rewrite

Mission 11: (Rewrite)

(Y/n) POV

Once me and Dante open the doors, we saw that demon that me and Dante don't like at all, "Great." I muttered out in a pissed off tone in my voice.  Dante just starts attacking the demon with the new sword, but I noticed the demon was using his demonic powers to try to lift us up.  But I wasn't paying attention at all because I was lift up from that demon's power that lift me up in the air.  The demon was going to attack me, but that's when I heard someone roar in a demonic way.  I could that this was Dante because he was flying up really fast before blocking the demon's weapon from hitting me.  Dante catches me in time before he starts to attack the demon so many times before I fired my guns at the demon's face before the demon was finally dead.

Once the demon was finally dead.  Dante starts to go down to the ground before he was out of his Devil Trigger.  Dante places me down on the ground before he looks at me before he asks me, "Are you okay?" Dante asks me.  I look at Dante before telling him, "Well, skydiving is cross off of my list." I said to Dante.  Dante just gives me a small smile on his face before he tells me, "At least you're safe." Dante said to me.  I just smile at Dante before telling him, "But to answer your question. I'm fine, no scratch at all just wasn't expecting to be up in the air." I said to Dante.  Dante just nods his head at me before we noticed something coming out from behind the tree, but we didn't think much about it.

We noticed the hole that was down there, we start to jump down, but there was only one demon in here.  I let Dante killed the demon before it was finally dead, "Well, that's that." I said to Dante.  Dante just chuckles at this before he tells me, "You're not kidding." Dante said to me.  We were walking around the area before we noticed a creak on the wall, "Dante, try using your sword to break the wall." I said to Dante.  Dante just nods his head at me before he got his sword out and start hitting the wall, but once Dante broke the wall.  There were demons in here.  I got my fists ready before punching and kicking the demons face before grabbing my dagger and stabbing the demon's eye before Dante was able to kill the second demon.

The third demon was going to attack us before me and Dante did a side glance at each other with smirks on our faces before we stab our sharp weapons towards the demon's head.  Once the demon was dead, me and Dante just sigh at this before we smiled at each other, "Now that's how you do it." Dante said to me.  I just smiled at Dante before giving him a kiss on his cheek before telling him, "You're right about that." I said to Dante.  Dante starts to jump up before he gets down on his stomach before he sticks out his hand towards to me.  I back up a bit before I jump up and grab Dante's hand before Dante pulls me up before we were standing next to each other.

We look up at the hole.  I look at Dante before telling him, "I'll stay here. Right now, you go ahead." I said to Dante.  Dante was about to disagree with me, but there was no point of arguing, so Dante agrees with it.  Dante gives me a kiss on my lips before he looks back at me before he tells me, "Stay safe." Dante said to me.  I just give Dante a small smile on my face before telling him, "You as well." I said to Dante.  

Once Dante was gone, I was waiting for Dante.  I heard those demons that were digging on the ground were moving around.  I start to get my dagger ready before I start to attack the demons that were going to attack me.

Dante's POV

I heard noises coming from the hole, but I noticed the item that almost looks like a brain.  I read the little item that says, "Sign of Chastity." I grabbed the item before running back to help out (Y/n).

Author's note: Chastity is actually my first name. XD

Once I got down on the hole before seeing (Y/n) punching and kicking the demons really hard, but not forgetting to stab them in the eye or sometimes stabbing the head.  I noticed (Y/n) was able to give a clean old roundhouse kick towards the demon to the wall.  The demon was dead before I noticed the other demon starts to attack (Y/n) but I used my guns to shoot at the demon's face before (Y/n) starts to pull out that rocket launcher before she fires it at the demon.  The demon was dead before (Y/n) just puts the rocket launcher away before she looks at me.

Before (Y/n) could say anything to me, I wrapped my arms around her before pulling her close to my chest before telling her, "You're not hurt right?" I ask (Y/n).  (Y/n) looks at me before she tells me, "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm not hurt at all." (Y/n) says to me.  I just sigh at this before telling (Y/n), "Well, I'm glad you're okay." I said to (Y/n).  I looked at (Y/n) again before telling her, "I don't want to lose you." I said to (Y/n).  (Y/n) just smiles at me before we start leaving the little area and we were back to the room of where we first fought the demon.

We were looking around the room before we went towards the doors that were behind the tree before we start to open the doors before placing the Sign of Chastity on this little hole in there.  Once the light dies down, we grab the other item before I put the item away before we could go anywhere.  We heard something being block off.  I felt (Y/n)'s hand grab my glove hand before we saw blue lighting around us.  I had a feeling someone was behind us, so I turn around to face that demon again.

(Y/n) starts to tighten my hand before I tighten my hand with hers.  We start to back up a bit before noticing the demon was going to attack us.  So, me and (Y/n) let our hands go before we start fighting the demon.  But this demon got a little better at his fighting, but I noticed that this demon was teleporting a few times to avoid our attacks on him.  I'll even have to go to my Devil Trigger to at least get a few hits on this guy.  (Y/n) was using her guns to fire at the demon.  The demon starts running towards to (Y/n), but this time.  (Y/n) just backflips away from the demon before stabbing him with her dagger.

Even though it really didn't much damage to the demon.  At least (Y/n) was able to lay a good hit on the demon.  I decided to end this fight before hitting the demon with my sword before the demon starts to have a bit of lightning around his body for a bit, but he was shot down on the floor.  The demon was screaming in pain but before me and (Y/n) could go near the demon.  Purple and blue flames start to surround the demon's body before the flames start to go up and fly away.  We saw little lightning and that's when there was a little rumbling around before it stops.  The doors from behind us are block off.

I look up to see that I could reach over there, "You go ahead. I wait back here." (Y/n) said to me.  I look at (Y/n) before telling her, "You stay safe again." I said to (Y/n).  (Y/n) just gives me a small smile on her face before I start to jump up and start running towards the platform before I made sure that I was able to place the item on the statue.  I heard something that was being move, "Dante!" (Y/n) yells out my name.  I look down to see (Y/n) waving down at me, "I think you did something to make that other door that we could go over there!" (Y/n) yells out to me.  I just jump down before I noticed (Y/n) was down there before she tells me, "Come on. Let's get out of here." (Y/n) said to me.  Me and (Y/n) start running towards the blue door.
