Chapter 8

Bella's POV

I cried as the paramedic checked Liam's Vitals. We arrived at the hospital and I saw Nick. I ran to him and engulfed him in a hug that I desperately needed. I needed to hear a strong heartbeat, a soothing voice, someone with strong arms to support you and hold you. Someone like Liam, but it was him who I needed to be comforted about. I couldn't take the confusion anymore. I want my brother to be overprotective again. I want my brother to be there for everything. I want us to be inseparable. I want my LiLi. The thought of me never being able to have that again made me cry harder.

"Bella, it's okay. He's going to be fine. And I'm here." Nick said to me quietly.

"How do you know?" I asked looking up at him.

"I know because he would never leave his amazing Baby sister alone and brother less." He said smiling and looking in my eyes.

"But he's not the same Liam as before he left. He changed and I want him back. I want my LiLi back." I said trying to contain my tears as Nick held me closer.

"How about we ask the front desk if we can see Liam now, huh?"

"Okay just hurry up. I want to see him now." WE shuffled over to the front lady and asked her.

 

"Okay, what relation are you to him?" the lady asked.

"I'm his sister."

"Okay he's number 216 which is upstairs so go to the elevator down the hall and look for the door on the left." the lady answered trying to give us clear instructions.

'K, thanks." I said and pulled Nick along behind me as we got into the elevator.

"Bella," Nick asked cautiosly,"Your'e fine right?"

"Yeah why?" I asked confused.

"Because it's around 9 and pain killers are going to wear out soon. I want to make sure you're okay." He said looking very concerned.

"Nick, I'm fine right now and I still need to tell Liam that Mom's not going to be home for a while."

"Okay lets see him." He pulled me out of the elevator just as it opened.

We searched and found Liam's door and opened it up to see him crying.

"Liam why are you crying?" I asked running to his side.

"I only remember you telling me to wake up and you crying and when I woke up I didn't see you any where and I got worried." He wiped his eyes as I hugged him.

"I missed you LiLi." I started to sniffle.

"Bella, I'm sorry about leaving, about changing, about not talking to you, about hurting you, and about everything."

"Liam, I forgive you for everything but I need you to be with me because Mom is going to be gone for a while." He pulled back.

"What do you mean?" He looked at my eyes searching for an answer.

"She's gone for work and she doesn't know where or for how long."

"Bella. I don't know how long I have to wait to get out of here, and you need to go to school. Alex, and Luke are getting here tomorrow too."

"Who's Alex, and Luke?" Now I was confused.

"My friends I was talking to this morning."

"Liam you told her we're your friends? Are you fucking serious, you didn't tell her." Nick said frustrated.
