The Begining (GLEE: the Parker series)

Parker was walking down the hall to her locker with books in her hands when she got a text from Finn saying they had practice after the 2nd period. What she didn't notice was the Irish boy was reading the same text while walking the same hall. The two bumped into each other making Parker drop her books.

"Oh my, Parker I'm so sorry," Rory said picking up her books.

Parker bent down grabbing the other books he wasn't able to grab, "It's fine. I shouldn't have been walking and reading."

Rory let out a small laugh, "Same goes for me."

They both looked up at each other staring into each other's eyes.

Parker quickly shook it off, "Well, I'll see you in glee club."

Rory nodded letting her walk away then realized he still had her books, "Parker!"

She turned around seeing him catching up with her.

"I forgot to give you these," he said.

She smiled, "Thanks."

She turned back around walking to her locker leaving a smiling Rory.

Everyone clapped surprised about how energetic the boys were.

"Whoo!" Mr. Schue said, "Wow! Puck, guys, spectacular! What a way to start off this week. You guys didn't even need an assignment to work on this. You just did it."

Rachel then raised her hand, "Mr. Schuester, while the performance was excellent--particularly the drumming--don't you think that the subject matter is a little inappropriate."

"Well, that depends on what Puck's intent was when he chose this song," Mr. Schue answered turning to Puck.

He shrugged, "I guess I just, uh, dig Van Halen."

Mr. Schue smiled, "All right! Rock on!"

Everyone let out a laugh and started to clap again.

Parker was in her next class of the day. She had finished her work early making her pull out a new book. She was in the middle of reading when she felt a tap on her shoulder.

"Hey, do you think you could help me with this?" asked the Irish boy.

She nodded, "What part?"

"I don't know how to solve this equation," he responded.

She closed her book to finally look down at his paper seeing he did it all wrong, "Well, for starters you have to add 3 and 2 giving you 5, then subtract 9i and 2i giving you...?"

"7i?" he answered unsurely.

Parker nodded, "Yep."

"Thank you, Parker," he said getting up to turn in the work.

She nodded opening her book back up again.

"So, this is my life. And I want you to know that I am both happy and sad and I'm still trying to figure out how that could be."

The New Directions had all gotten the message to meet in the auditorium, but when they got there they were greeted by the Trouble Tones.

Rachel walked in front of her group, "What are you doing here?"

"Shelby told us she had something to show us," Mercedes answered, "What are you doing here?"
