it was currently 2 am. knowing minji, she couldn't fall asleep. she was in her bedroom, on her phone. she thought being on her phone will help her fall asleep but nope, the bright light coming from her phone only made her more awake. she was watching a movie on her phone when her door opened, catching her attention "why are you still awake?" haechan says walking over to the girl "why are YOU still awake?" minji says pausing her movie

"couldn't sleep, same reason?" haechan says plopping himself next to her "yep" she says making him chuckle "you should be sleeping, we have many things to do tomorrow" haechan says turning off her phone "you mean today? its 2 am" minji says while chuckling "yeah whatever, i want cuddles" haechan then sits on minji's lap and wraps his arms around her while nuzzling his face onto her neck

"is this why you came to my room?" minji says running her hands through his hair "maybe yes maybe no?" haechan says making the girl chuckle "okay well, if you dont mind i will continue my movie" minji says opening her phone and continued watching the movie. haechan being bored, started placing kisses on her shoulder "lee haechan" minji says, feeling ticklish which only caused haechan to start placing kisses on her neck instead.

minji then turned off her phone and started tickling him in revenge "OKAY OKAY STOOPPP PLEASE" haechan says while laughing "YOU SHALL NOT PLACE KISSES ON ME EVER AGAIN" minji continuing to tickle him "NO PROMISEEESSS" haechan says trying to shove her off

the dreamies were invited to weekly idol and are currently playing a game called "hug me!". the chosen player has to choose from pieces of paper which have different questions on them. you have to hug the person based on who you think is most likely to from the question you have chosen written on the paper. "okay, minji its your turn!" kwanghee says as minji excitedly walks over to the table where they get asked a question

she then picks a black colored paper and opens it "which member gives the best hugs?" she reads it, making her laugh and shows it to the camera "is it haechan again?" renjun says jokingly making everyone laugh while haechan has a look on his face which screams "ive had enough of this bs". minji then walks behind the boys as she was told to "no its nott~" she says while she intentionally make her steps loud to make the boys nervous

"just pick for gods sake!" jeno says and minji finally hugged haechan making everyone laugh "why is it me this time?" haechan says making everyone laugh harder "i promise its a good thing!" minji says, trying to defend him while going back to her seat "ok, you can explain minji" eunhyuk says and the dreamies pay attention to her now "well, its not a bad thing i guess. its like a compliment for haechan and its a thing he always does?" minji says trying to find the right words to say while also trying to not be obvious

"ahhh~" chenle says, having an idea "is it being the most annoying?" he says confidently while haechan scoffs "how is that a compliment for me??" he says, clearly pissed while chenle laughs at him "i told you it was a good thing!" minji says patting haechan's back "this is harder than i thought" chenle then says scratching his head "you sure its a good thing?" haechan then says making everyone laugh

"yes! and i enjoy it alot when you do it to me!" minji says trying to brighten up the mood while the dreamies have a confused look making her laugh "okayy, thats enough! go now jisung" kwanghee says making the boys groan "watch it be a bad thing about haechan" jeno says making everyone laugh "im telling you its not!" minji says still trying to defend him

during the concert, haechan and minji had prepared a duet for the both of them. they decided to sing stuck with u by ariana grande featuring justin bieber. their performance went viral and so many nctzens were shocked on how good haechan's english pronounciation was since minji helped him whenever they practiced.

nctzens were also shocked on minji's highnote in the song and were literally begging sm for her to sing a highnote in their next comeback. another thing that made nctzens' hearts cry is that whenever minji was singing, haechan looked at her with literal sparkles in his eyes.

they also gave eachother a big cuddly hug at the end of their duet :')) this performance ended up being iconic and a huge blessing for not only haeji shippers but the whole fandom. their voices went really well together and when they harmonized, it was like if you could hear heaven-

⊹₊ ⋆ overwork ꜜ

lately, haechan has been really busy with 127 schedules and dream's schedule too. nct members has been noticing it and tried to tell him to rest but he always had an excuse. one person that was really worried is minji. she always made sure she eats his food and not overwork himself and took care of him. minji opened the door to the dance room to see haechan practicing choreography, as usual

"oh, minji?" haechan says as he pauses the music "its late, why are you still practicing?" minji says as she places down bags with food "i need to do it perfectly, so i practice. you already know this, why ask?" haechan says drinking from his water bottle making minji sigh as she makes her way over to him "haechan" minji says, grabbing his attention "theres no such thing as perfect in this world. many people may think you're not doing enough but to me you are! to your members, you are. to nctzens, you are." minji says holding his hand while he looks at the ground feeling guilty

"so please, get some rest. you've seen mark struggle when he went through the same thing you're experiencing right now and the last thing i want happening to you is getting sick and maybe something worse so stop worrying and focus on your health, okay?" minji says fixing his messy hair "im sorry" haechan says as tears started flowing from eyes, thinking about what she had just said and minji gives him a hug "theres no need to be sorry, i know its really hard doing different things at the same time but dont push yourself, you are enough." minji then pulls away and cups his cheeks and wipes his tears with her thumb

"lets eat yeah? i brought your favorite noodles" minji then holds his hand and brings him over to sit down. she opens the bag and places the food on the floor and gave some to haechan and started eating. "thank you minji. what did i do to deserve you huh?" haechan says caressing her head "i know im such a great friend~" minji says making haechan smile

"when we come home, i will sleep immediately only if you give me hugs" haechan says, continuing to eat his noodles "only?" minji says and haechan nods while chuckling "if its for you sleeping then fine" she says sighing while haechan laughs in victory "guess whos getting hugs tonightt~"
