haechan and minji had been friends for a quite long time. growing up, minji was quite a shy person. she didnt really have any friends in school and people didnt even bother going up to her and ask to be friends because they thought shes the cold, mean type of person but inside shes a really sweet and kind girl with a bubbly personality.
making new friends for minji was a big challenge, especially if she was gonna debut in a group that had a lot of members. when the boys first met minji, she was very shy and mostly didnt talk at all. its not like she disliked them but its because she felt like she wasnt supposed to be there, the boys talking and having fun with eachother as if they knew eachother their whole lives.
one of the members seemed to notice and decided to talk to her "hey, come join us!' he said, grabbing her hand and pulling her to sit down "my name is haechan by the way" he says and minji gives him a soft smile "yeah, its not like we introduced eachother earlier" she says making him chuckle. that was the start of their friendship with many memories to come.
"yah! come back here!" minji screamed as she ran after haechan who had her phone "seriously hyuck, im too tired for this!" she says, giving up running after him. haechan looked behind him, seeing the girl out of breaths and chuckled. "haechan?-" she looked infront of her, confused on where the boy went until someone carried her making her squeal
"yah, what are you doing?" minji says as she hits his back playfully while haechan giggled from her reaction "you were tired right?" haechan said as he held her hand that was holding onto his neck for support "yeah but it doesnt give you an excuse to scare me!" minji says and haechan could tell she was rolling her eyes right now
"whatever, lets go home baby" haechan said as that one word slipped from his mouth. minji's eyes widened "b-baby?" she stuttered, a shade of pink shown on her cheeks. haechan and minji calls eachother nicknames but he had never called her baby or anything like that. "yeah, baby. anything wrong?" haechan said as he continued walking
"o-oh. nothing." she says, kinda relieved that haechan couldn't see her currently blushing face right now since she was on his back. "whats wrong baby?" he says, turning a bit but minji moved her head so he couldnt see her "can you stop calling me that? dont couples only call eachother baby or something?" she says, whatever was on her mind
to make it seem like everything was alright "couples?" haechan said and laughed as minji gulped "we're just friends, minji" he says, placing a kiss on her hand that he was holding. minji felt her heart shatter, but why? its not like she liked him or something, right? "yeah.. friends" she says, her voice slowly getting softer.
