it was wednesday, currently 1 am. mark had invited minji to stay over and just hangout the whole day since they've been really busy with eachother's schedules so they didnt have time to see eachother that much. throughout the day, they've made little friendship bracelets with beads, attempted to make pizza which ended up being burnt all thanks to mark and had a nerf gun fight which ended up to eating all of the snacks they had (??).
it was really late and it wouldn't be a great idea for minji to walk back to the dorms at this time so mark thought it would be a better idea for her to stay over the night even if minji insisted that she would be fine but mark made her stay. right now, minji is on her phone, scrolling through social media while wearing one of mark's hoodies that she secretly stole from his closet while he was playing videogames with haechan, johnny and jaehyun.
"maarrkkk" she called, being bored and remembered they were gonna have a movie marathon "mid! they're at mid!" he shouted, not hearing minji just now especially with his headset covering his ears making minji groan in annoyance. she came up to him and tapped his shoulder which was noticed by mark "yeah?" he asked, eyes still focused on his game "wanna watch a movie with me?" she says staring at him who was currently wiping out a team
"hes 1 shot, kill him!" he says, ignoring minji "mark" she taps his shoulder again "what is it??" he says slightly annoyed which made minji think if she wanted to ask him to watch a movie or not since she didnt want to disturb his game. "uh- i just wanted to ask if you wanna watch a movie with me.. like we planned earlier?" she hesitated before saying it "haechan on your left!" he said, ignoring minji's words once again making her sigh
"you said we would watch movies together" she mumbles as she plops herself down on the couch, grabbing a blanket and putting it on her. she then reaches for the remote and looks for a movie to watch on netflix. she eventually found a decent looking movie and started watching it. she was really looking forward to watching movies with mark, it was her favorite thing to do when she hanged out with not only mark but also other members.
the movie that she chose wasn't really interesting which soon made her fall asleep. "and final kill.. YES! we won!!" mark said clapping but slowly started to realize how quiet it was.. wheres minji? he slowly started to panic, thinking if she had left and walked back to her dorms especially when its 2 am. "you guys wanna do another round?" jaehyun said through the headset while haechan and johnny agreed "mark? how about you?" jaehyun asked
"wait hold on, i gotta go to the bathroom" he said, immediately removing his headset before the boys could even respond "minji?" he called, no response. he went to the livingroom, thinking she would be there and called her again "minji??" no response. he started getting nervous, what could've happened to her if she went out at this time but he then saw the girl peacefully sleeping on the couch. he sighed in relief and chuckled a bit, realizing how worried he was when she was just sleeping all along.
"you got me so worried" he chuckled, looking down at her sleeping figure. "im really sorry we couldn't have a movie marathon, i know how much you like your movies" he said turning off the tv before carrying her in bridal style. he then closed the lights before going to his room and sat down on his chair. he placed minji on his lap, putting her hands on his waist. he carefully let minji's head rest on his shoulder, nuzzled up onto his neck and kissed her cheek before putting back his headset
"im back. sorry for the wait" he said quietly "why are you so quiet?" haechan asked, confused of the sudden change of his voice who was literally screaming not a while ago "uhh.. i dont wanna wake the neighbors up you know? haha, lets just play the game okay?" he improvised, knowing he'll get teased by them if they knew that minji was currently sleeping on top of him "oh okay, we'll be quiet too then" johnny said before they started another match.
the whole game, mark kept glancing at minji, making sure she didnt wake up and he also made sure to not speak as much, trying not to wake her up as well. the game finished and they ended up winning "ayyy, good job gents" haechan said making them chuckle "nice game but i gotta go now boys, goodnight" jaehyun said before leaving the call "me too, goodnight guys" johnny said, leaving as well "goodnight mark" haechan said doing the same thing as johnny and jaehyun.
"night guys" mark said before leaving the call and shutting off his computer. he removed his headset and looked at the girl, who was still fast asleep "cute" he mumbled before standing up, still carrying her and placing her on his bed. he then turned on his lamp then proceeded to turn off his lights and layed down with minji. he placed her on top of him, wrapping his arms around her while her hands rested on his chest
"im sorry if i made you sad" mark said, playing with her hair. they layed there for a while, mark admiring her features, how can someone be so beautiful while sleeping? not even noticing he had a soft smile on his face "you're also wearing my hoodie?" mark realized and chuckled "you look better in it though" he said, tucking a strand of hair that fell onto her face behind her ear
"ill make it up to you in the morning" mark said and placed a kiss on the top of her head before closing his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
