It Started With a Lie

CHAPTER THREE: THE GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER

DANA'S POV

" Malayo pa ba tayo? You've been driving for an hour and I swear sumasakit na ang pwet ko sa tagal ng pagkakaupo ko dito " reklamo ko sa kanya.

Hindi niya ako pinansin at patuloy lang sa   pagdadrive while looking at the side mirror of his car every now and then.

"Hey!  Are you even list- what the heck! "
Bigla na lamang kasing me bumunggo na itim na van sa  sasakyan ni King.

"Sh*t!" he cursed." Hold on tight."

He stepped on the accelerator at mas lalo pang bumilis ang takbo namin pero mukhang ayaw magpatalo ng mga humahabol sa amin dahil binilisan din nila.

" Who are they? " I asked.

" I don't know . They've been following us since we left your school. "

" What?! "

" Just calm down okay?  I can handle thi-"

" Stop talking and just drive! " sigaw ko sa kanya nang mapansing nasa tapat na namin ang itim na van.
Hindi na siya nagsalita pa at nagdrive na lamang.

"They want  a f*cking race? We'll give them one! " sabi ko saka  nagdirty finger sa kanila.
I looked at King and he has this weird expression on his face

"What?"

"Did you just-"

"Do the dirty finger? Oh no no no.Mali ang nakita mo " I sarcastically said as I roll my eyes.

Maya may pa ay binunggo na naman nila kami.

" Will you stop playing around and show them who they're messing up with? " reklamo ko sa kanya nang maunahan na kami ng van. I even saw the driver smirked.

KING's POV

I can't believe this girl. I was actually expecting her to freak out pero mukhang enjoy na enjoy siya.  She even gave them a dirty finger . I don't believe I'm introducing her as my girlfriend.  My Dad want me to date a girl whom I don't even know when my so called sister told them I have  a   rumored girlfriend and that's how I ended up kidnapping her.Well, I got plans for her.

" Will you stop playing around and show them who they're messing up with?" reklamo niya nang maunahan kami ng van.

"Don't tell me what to do  " I stepped on the accelerator again and this time ako naman ang bumangga sa van.

"Yeah! Ano kayo ngayon?!  Booo!  "

I looked at Dana and she's stucking her tongue out sa mga nasa kabilang sasakyan. She even made  an L-sign then mouthed "losers" at nang makalayo na kami ay inilabas niya ang kamay niya  with her thumb up then side then down as if telling them they lose the race.
And I can't help but smile with her attitude.

"That was a nice one! "

"I know "

"You know what? I'm starting to find out that it's cool and fun hanging out with you.I didn't know it was this fun being with a handsome and gorgeous  King Saiga "

Naramdaman kong nag-init ang mga pisngi ko.

"Hey are you blushing? "

"I'm not" pagdedeny ko.

"Yes you are!  You look like a tomato now!  Hahahahaha "

" I told you I'm not! "

" Can I pinch you're cheeks? They're cute! Hahahaha"

" It's not funny Dana! "

"Awww... galit na siya!  Namumula na ulit yung pisngi mo oh!Hahahaha "

"Cut it off Dana!"

"The monster's already angry!! Hahaha"

" I'm f*cking serious! "

She stopped laughing then looked at me.
" Okay I'll already stop .... tomato cheeks " she said then she laughed again but quickly covered her mouth when I gave her a death glare.

DANA's  POV

" Malayo pa ba tayo? "

" For Pete's sake Dana,you've been asking that for a hundred times now.Malapit na tayo, okay?"

"You've been giving me that answer for a hundred times already King.  "

"Just take a nap okay? Gigisingin na lang kita kapag dumating na tayo"

I sighed.

"I can't sleep.  Kwentuhan mo na lang ako"

" At kailan pa ako naging story teller?"

" Ngayon ngayon lang.Tell me about yourself "

" No"

" Yes "

"No"

"Yes"

" Hindi tayo close"

"Girlfriend mo ako"

"Says who? "

"Just f*cking tell me about yourself! "

"Why do you love cussing? "

"And why does your cheeks turn red when you blush? "

" Fine. What do you want to know? " sa wakas ay pagsuko niya 

" About your band? "

"Numero Trese? "

"Yeah."

"Well as you know I am the vocalist . My band has four  members. We have Ash, yung inutusan ko para sunduin ka sa school ninyo. He's  actually the drummer.Next is Gian,siya ang  guitarist and  he's a cassanova. He loves flirting with women especially those  who are one year older than him. Then lastly  is Blake, he's  the basist.He's a bookworm.Name all the books you know and he'd already read it."

" How did you meet them? "

"Ash is actually my bestfriend since elementary. Si Gian naman nakilala ko nang tulungan ko siya dahil napaaway siya. That *sshole! He flirted with a sumo wrestler's girl."

"How about Blake ? "

" Blake and I fought because of one stupid book. It was actually the last book available and my sister badly wants it. After fighting,  I won pero nang balikan ko ang libro sa bookstore nabili na iyon. Umuwi tuloy akong me black eye galing sa Ate ko."

Napangiti ako.

"How 'bout you? "

"Me?  I'm Miss Popular and I have a bestfriend and a best enemy who wants to have everything I have. Si Kara yung bestfriend ko. Stupid yun minsan.  Yung enemy ko naman, si Claire. That b*tch!  Akitin ba naman lahat ng manliligaw ko. I don't know why she badly wants everything in my life when in fact there's nothing good in my life. "

"That Claire is the reason why you told everyone you're dating me? "

" Yup. I just want to piss her. She's so attracted to you. "

"Really ? I might as well visit her once"

"Hell no!  Don't ever do that or she'll think you like her. "

"Looks like I got a possesive girlfriend "

"I just don't want her to think she got you.By the way,  how does your family looks like? "

"My Mom is a wonderful woman.She's a fashion designer in Paris.They're all actually living outside the country but came here for a vacation.My sister is a pain in the ass and a model  and my Dad is an *sshole. I hate how his mind function"

"What do you mean? "

"He  always get what he wants "

I nod. Base sa sinabi ni King mukhang nakakatakot ang Dad niya. Well, what do you expect from guy who came from a family of famous people . Who knows his father might be a mafia leader. Right? Brrr.. Iniisip ko pa lang pero kinikilabutan na ako
