Ainles pov
I stretch my arms and open my eyes to be greeted by Emory holding a bucket.

"Rise and shine little twerp" his voice was exited and high pitched, that's never good. I suddenly get really cold and wet. It's like a sudden brain freeze. I screech and close my eyes, well this is one way to wake up. I re-open my eyes and see Duke and Leo smiling in the doorway before running away. I sit up and look around, everything's soaked: the walls, my bed and my lamp. I'm no scientist but I'm pretty sure that's dangerous. Nothing happened so I'm sure it's fine.

I jump out of bed in a some what delayed reaction and run downstairs to see all three boys standing casually in the kitchen. I can't win, I'm just a small child and there towering monsters. Wait...got to defend myself, that's what they've always said. I can't punch them but I can...water. There's a bowl and there's a tap. Ha! For once I can defend myself, well I'm sure I always could but I was taught not to be violent but now, the tables have turned.

I plaster a smile on my face and casually walk over to the tap. I grab a bowl and run it over the tap. Behind me I can here everyone muttering behind me. This is going to be great. I glance around and see Leo glancing at me nervously. He didn't splash me so maybe he can help me. I jerk my head towards me and watch as realization hits him. He smiles and slowly distances himself from Duke and Emory. Quietly, we fill up the bowls and creep behind the boys. We stand on the breakfast bar and throw the bowls of water over each of them. I'm not really sure what Emory did to deserve it but he was in the way.

An extra two Shrieks escape through the house and Duke jerks his head around. A large smile spreads across my face and I laugh, watching the anger fade from the boys faces. This is fun, I should do it more often. I see what they mean when they say I should stand up for myself.

"You little twat! What did I do?" Duke high fives me but Emory looks genuinely annoyed. Where dad? Usually he'd be yelling by now. It's a school day as well I thought we'd be dead. I won't be dead though because I'm the youngest and apparently the youngest don't get yelled at.

"Do you want a list?" Leo and Duke chuckle but Emory doesn't get a chance to respond before dad walks though the door. Everyone goes silent and stare blankly at the new person in the room. He lets out a sigh.

"If you lot aren't dry in 20 minutes your grounded" our gazes follow him around to the tap where he grabs a cup and starts filling it up. Everyone's still silent and staring at him. I'm not sure if this is awkward or not. I'm still smiling and I think that might be making dad less angry. In fact I don't think he's angry at all.

"Now I don't think any of this is fair." He dumps his glass of water down the back of Leo's shirt and runs upstairs. "Got to treat all my sons the same!" He disappears around the corner. I hope they don't all wake me up like this from now on though, it's not the most comfortable thing. All my clothes are stuck to me and everyone else looks just as uncomfortable. Duke turns to me still with a smile across his face. He almost looks proud.

"Next thing you know boys, he'll be on the basketball team." I can't play sport. I can kick a ball but that's about it. Maybe they can teach me, they seem to like basketball. "Al, you have a therapy thing later so where not picking you up from school. Dads going to" everyone begins going back upstairs probably to dry off. Well I think that this is a complete win. I also rush upstairs and grab a towel, I think today's gonna be an alright day. Please don't prove me wrong, usually I don't have good days.

After 20 minutes of waiting around  we finally set off.

Sorry it's a short chapter, still trying to figure out what to do in the future.
