"The patient has a heart failure and he needs surgery." Our director said.

"Dr. Ellison, you will be the assistant surgeon." sabi naman ng director namin. What??? Assistant surgeon lang ako?

"Then who's the operationg surgeon then?" irita kong sabi.

"We all know that CABG is the only way to cure the patient." saad ko.

"I agree with that but there's also an alternative way.

He looked at me and I looked back. "Why are we using alternative ways when we can do the effective way?" I emphasised the word effective because everyone here in the room knows what is the most effective way.

Wilson looked away and trying to catch everone's attention. "Why use CABG when there was only one heart artery is blocked?"

"Assurance, Dr. Fuego. Why use the less percentage of survival when we can save the patient with 92% of survival? " sabi ko habang pinanlilisikan siya ng mata. I know unprofessional ang inaasta ko kasi medyu mataas na ang boses ko but it's necessary you know, we must value our pride.

Kakainis!

Nang lumingon ako, I was shocked when I saw a man with white button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled to the elbows and well fitted dress pants. Nakaupo na siya sa upuan.

"Sorry Dr. Frost, hindi kita napakilala agad.... Dr. Fuego and Dr. Ellison were so intense" at tumawa ang director.

"Yeah, it's okay director Antonio, I'm amazed with their principle and pride?" the last word was a bit sarcastic, tiningnan niya ako habang sinasabi yun.

The director stood up and introduced Dr. Frost. I think he got a good impression to everyone, he always did.

"What can you say Dr. Frost?" director asked. "About what director?"
Liam answered. "About the patient, what do you think is the best way?" Everyone are waiting for Liam's answer, including me. Hanggang dito pabida pa din.

"Hmm, I think the patient with heart failure do not need surgery and we will treated him with drugs. Sorry director but it's not necessary. We can cure him without opening his heart. It is not that severe." He said it seriously and it catches attention. All eyes on him.

He glanced at me but I looked away. Here he goes again. He crumpled my pride. I admit it, he has a point. That's why i hate him.
