One year ago....

Finally, after so many days Charlie is having a sleepover at my place.

It's been long since we did it.
Since the day he has started talking to that girl on Instagram, he has almost stopped talking to me or Taylor. Just casual hii hellos.

If your "casual friend" does it then no one would care. But who would like it if your best friend does it????

He hasn't even told us how far he and that Insta girl have gone.

Today I'm going to squeeze out all the information.

He reached my place at exact 8 p.m. Seems like the girl taught him punctuality, and erased all my teachings of coming late.
I pouted at this thought.

We entered our room, sat on the bed, crossed our legs, and I started, "So???"

"What???"

"Oh Mr. Innocent, so you don't know what I'm asking about??? Really????"

"Umm.... I.... Know... But..."

"Just say man..."

"Okay... So I and Selly are in a relationship...."

"Ohh.. Ok... Whaattttt????? You're in a freaking relationship???? With that online girl??"

"Umm yes..."

"Since when??"

"Since a week.."

"You've been in an online relationship, for a week, and you didn't tell us???And wait.. Selly????" I said in pure shock..

"Wait wait... Calm down. First thing, it's not an online relationship.... We've met thrice... And second, she is Selena for you.... She is Selly only for me. You don't call her that."

"Thrice??????? You've met her thrice????????? So that's why you didn't come to school that day... You had gone to meet your freaking girlfriend!!!!"

"Hey!! Mind your language... I love her..."

"Oh shut up... You call us your best friends and didn't even tell us... Then why do you care. And wait... Since when did you start believing in love???"

"Just after meeting Selly..."

"Oooo... Control young man control...."

He giggled.

"So, when are you planning to introduce this Selena to me and Taylor."

"Ummm, she knows about both of you. But she's coming here tomorrow, we three will go and meet her together!!!"

She already knew us, and he's telling me today about her????????? Bastard!!!

We watched a couple of movies and then slept.
I wasn't excited at all to meet this Selena.....
Nobody likes their best friend's girlfriend or boyfriend cuz they do a work of stealing all your importance.....

Whatever. We'll have to meet her to see if she's the one for Charlie or not.

"Why didn't you call me yesterday night itself you bastard!!!!" Tay shouted at me over phone.

"Umm..."

"Bloody idiot both of you."

"Okay, both of us apologise from the depths of our heart, liver, kidney, from wherever you want... Now can you please get ready??? We are coming to pick you up in an hour."

"Fine... But I swear, if she turns out to be a bloody bitch then Charlie would have to break up with her then and there."

"Umm, Charlie is listening Tay..."

"Oh!! Guess what?? I don't care. Glad he heard it. Now you won't have to repeat it to him. Bye!!"

"O-"
Cut---
"-kay"

Man!!! She didn't even let me complete. Damn her tantrums!!!!!

"Hey Tay-tay!!!"

"Not in a mood to talk to betrayers.."

Both of us didn't speak anything else. We wanted to meet Charlie's girlfriend alive, but if we argued with Taylor, Selena will meet Taylor and two dead bodies.

We sat in my car and sped off.

It took us fifteen minutes to reach the restaurant where we would meet the 'thief of Charlie's heart'... I chuckled.

We sat on a table meant for four people. I sat beside Charlie and Taylor sat in front of me which meant Selena would have to sit in front of Charlie and beside Tay.

Charlie looked towards me signalling me to go and sit beside Taylor, and I wiggled my eyebrows at him but stopped when Taylor shot me a glare.

Charlie nudged me so I got up and sat beside Taylor and in front of Charlie.

Taylor eyed us both, got up and sat beside Charlie. I mentally face palmed and then giggled. Tay was doing good work.
Charlie looked like he would scream of frustration.
This made both me and Tay laugh.

Charlie rolled his eyes. Then smiled.
"I love how you guys are so protective of me."

"Stop being so cheesy." Taylor replied.

Charlie rolled his eyes.
I wonder when that day would come when he would roll his eyes all the ways towards back of the eyes and would not be able to normalise it.
I laughed at my own joke.

"Oh somebody give this guy some sense. He keeps on laughing to himself." Charlie complained.

"One day he'll laugh at his own joke in front of his girlfriend telling him her miseries. The next thing we would see is his funeral." Both of them laughed at Taylor's joke.

I pouted. Why do they have to make fun of me always??

Cuz you do things worthy of being made fun of...

Can't blame these guys when even I make fun of myself in my thoughts. Whatever...

Selena arrived.
Not a spot of makeup on her face except for just a hint of lip balm but still a spotlessly clean pretty face, dark eyes deeper than ocean, dark and wavy hair left open.
She was so beautiful!!!

Charlie was a lucky guy.

While we two guys on the table were gazing at her, Tay was eying her head to toe.

Selena came and sat beside me, in front of Taylor, "Hey guys!!!"

All three replied with a hello, me with an are you an angel? , Charlie with an I'm blessed to have you, and Tay with an, just do one dumb thing and you'll be dead look.

"Okay, so, I know you guys are here to see if I'm worthy of Charlie or not." Informed the beautiful maiden.

"You do??" Charlie gave a surprised look. I was surprised to see him surprised by this surprising statement by surp-I mean Selena.

"Yes!! I have done it a lot for my sister. So I know what it feels.."

Okay, so she has a sister.

Wait!!! She has a sister!!!
