Today
Today was the day.
We all went to school and soon it was recess.
We we're sitting on the table in the canteen waiting for Karel to come, all ready with the plan, when I spoke up,
"Wait!!!! We aren't still sure if Karel is the culprit right???"
"Sure we are... The fact that she is safe even after being your girlfriend, isn't it enough???" Charlie asked.
"But what if whoever is doing all this is trying to frame Karel for all of it???"
"Whoa!! That's true.... This is a completely new angle..."
"Also we aren't sure if the enacting of our plan will be heard by the kidnapper if it's not Karel..." Tay said.
"Right..."
"Let's abort the plan today..."
"What?? Are you sure???" Charlie said.
"Can you make your mind up cuz I'm losing my patience." I said.
"Yes I am... We can't just do anything and everything... We have to make the plan stronger and then act..."
"Yeah..."
"Hey guys!!!"
We all looked in the direction of the source, it was Karel.
"Hey..." I said.... She came and sat close to me.... Actually very very close...
"Hey love..." She said..
Umm... Love??
I really like her and all that... But...
This is...uncomfortable...
"So what were you doing yesterday to refuse a date like that???" She asked like she owned me.
"Umm... I was busy..."
"Really?? So tell me... What were you busy in???" She raised one eyebrow.
"Are you doubting him???" Charlie asked...
"Kinda...." She said...
"Seriously????" I was astonished.
"Yeah... I have heard of you being the most popular boy around here so I have the very right to doubt you..."
"That means you don't trust him." Tay argued.
"Shut up. This is a matter between him and me. He's MY boyfriend. You don't have the right to say anything. " She shouted.
We three were stunned.
This was the first time we had heard her speak like that.
Taylor seemed hurt. She normally had a comeback ready. But she kept quiet.
I couldn't bear to see her hurt.
"She has every right to say something in a matter between YOU and ME. Because she was in my life way before you came... Also you have no right to talk to her like that. So apologize. "
All the people on the table looked at me startled.
Karel was the most surprised.
"Why should I apologize??? She interfered." She said after overcoming her shock.
"But she said the right thing. You yourself had said that I love you then how do you think I would cheat or something???"
"I didn't say anything about cheating. See baby, I just want you to tell me anything and everything. I don't want to keep secrets. You can rely on me instead of these two..." She looked at Charlie and Taylor expressing disgust.
