Not a single minute after Annika was done taking the interview of Sammer, she had gotten up to leave. It had been dreadful half an hour to sit there and not think about what had gone done minutes ago, she was flushed and her cheeks were tinted red to think that their small little secret wasn't a secret anymore. It was a kind of a relief to her to say that Shivaay was his boyfriend, a weird satisfaction it was.
Sammer was a polite and a gentle guy, she had known that much after taking his interview. Not only was he a gentleman but also a handsome billionaire who had donated half of the money last month to the charity. It was an admirable trait of his and Annika had penned down important words, not wanting to go this interview into vain. He deserved admiration and respect, she was glad to take his interview.
From what it sounded like, Shivaay and him were friends since college days, but they were now collaborating with each other after years. Annika shook hands with Sammer before grabbing her bag and recorded into her hands. "Tell Shivaay that he is lucky to have a girlfriend like you, if he messes things up, don't give a second thought before coming to me for help. I bet the newspapers will be on fire when they come to know you two are dating"
Annika's cheeks reddened at the last sentence, will people judge her for getting into a relationship with Shivaay Singh Oberoi, or will they accept the fact that the most eligible bachelor of India was dating a girl who was far from what he was, the rich and an Elite. But then, if it were revealed, they wouldn't stop throwing questions at her, follow everywhere she went and maybe shade her in the magazines, it was like a million problems arising from a confession.
"Thank you, Sammer for cooperating," Annika said with a smile and Sammer returned the gesture, watching her leave the next second from his office. When Annika had exited the room, she kept her head against the wall nearby, this was such a mess but in all she did not regret saying Shivaay was her boyfriend. Sucking a breath in, she took her phone out, dropping a message to Shivaay, asking where he was and his reply came sooner than she expected.
Following the directions he gave her, Annika found herself standing in front of an office room. Opening the door, she was met with the pair of blue eyes who was sitting there on the chair, smiling like a teenager at her. Annika kept her handbag down, he was twirling around on the chair, making Annika giggle, such a small child he was. "Isn't your world spinning by what you are doing?"
"No, my world only spins around one person" Shivaay answered, his voice deep and intoxicating, Annika watched him get up from his chair and move to where she was standing, gazing at the buildings from the glass windows, the skyscrapers almost touching the sky had Annika look up at them with astonishment. Shivaay stood next to her, what he found beautiful was not the view in front of him but at the women standing next to him, she was gorgeous.
"Don't you wanna the answer? Who that person would be?"
"It's simple" Annika shrugged her shoulders, eyes fixed at the sky above, even though the hair on her arms rose up with the way he stared at her, she refused to look at him, afraid she might not be able to control herself.
