I have a different version of the soulmate AU I've never seen been used before so I wanted to explain it. In my version of the Soulmate AU, when you turn 18, you get a notebook that you can use to communicate with your soulmate. It's impossible to lose it because when you do it shows up in your bed (or wherever you sleep) the next day. There are some rules to the book though. You cannot tell your soulmate your full name or your location. If you try, it will disappear in the book. Also when you get a message the writing on the binding will change colors from gold to green. That's about it. Enjoy the story!
