We made it!

Back On the Ark-

Abby's POV:

I watch as the ship deploys from the Ark out into space. It pains me to watch my children go, but I'd rather them live out there lives on earth than in a jail cell. I start walking back to the control center when I hear yelling coming from the cockpit. I head inside where I see parents yelling at my friend, Callie, as she tries to calm them down.
"I saw a ship launch not more than twenty minutes ago! Who was on it?"
"Was it the prisoners?"
"They're just kids!"
"Are they going to Earth? Has something changed?" The parents of the prisoners began to make assumptions just as quick as Callie could make up an excuse. "Folks, as I said, at this time, we cannot confirm or deny anything." That didn't really make them happy though and only led to them pestering her more.
"Come on, lady! Was my son on that ship?" I warn them that if they don't leave I would get the guards to force them out. One particularly angrier parent yells at me in response to my threat. "What about your kids, Dr.Griffin? Did they go too or we're they too privileged to die on earth?!?" At that, I signaled for the guards to come.  The guards came and broke up the group telling them that if they don't drop the subject they would then crew all be floated. The crowd began to disperse from the fear of getting floated and I continued my journey to the control center. Callie following close behind. As I walked into the control center I immediately locked eyes with Cane, Jaha's second in command, and my ex-friend. After my husband's death, Kane and I's relationship died as well, which resulted in us bickering and butting heads on a daily basis. I was about to say something to him before he told me he wasn't in the mood and walked over to Sinclair, the head engineer on the ark. I went over to them listening in on their conversation. "Total system failure, that's what we're looking at. All we know for sure is that they were off course when we lost contact, so..." Sinclair sounded frustrated as he went over the visuals of the ship the kids were on. Kane asked him if there was anything wrong with communications on the ship. Sinclair looked at him worriedly and said "Other than the telemetry from their wristbands, we got nothing... No audio, no video, no computer link. Everything that we programmed in to help them is gone. They're on their own." I stood there frozen as I heard Sinclair's report on the ship carrying my babies. I wondered if I really sent them to a better place to live...or a worse place to die. No. I can't think like that. I know Nico and Clarke can take care of themselves and will help all 100 of them survive. I...I can't lose them too.

On Earth-

Nico Pov:

I open my eyes to see nothing but darkness and to be met with only silence. Did I die? Did the ship blow up before we even landed on earth? Did I already fail my goal to bring the people from the Ark to earth?
No. I can't fail! I can't die either! I can't leave Clarke by herself...I have to survive!

I open my eyes again, but instead of darkness, I'm met with the ceiling of the ship. I let out a sigh of relief. Grateful I survived the landing and will be able to see my sister again. I then remember that I had fallen with Finn when the gravity came back. I call out to him hoping he didn't get hurt from the fall. As I'm calling his name I hear a pained groan followed by a light chuckle come from underneath me. I look behind my back to see that familiar smug smirk looking back at me. "I'm right here, little prince," says Finn as I realize he's underneath me. When the gravity kicked in he was still hugging me so I must have landed on top of him. I turn around to face him. My chest now pressed against his chest while I give him a smile and tell him how happy I was to see he's ok. He then looks at me with a weary look and says, "Well...I probably would have been better if you didn't crush me on my way down." I start to feel guilty and try to hurry off of him, but before I can I feel Finn wrap his arms around my back securing me in place on his chest. I look at him confused as I ask what he's doing. He looks at me and smirks "I love the feeling of you being on top of me so much that I just couldn't let you go that easily" I look at him confused as I wonder why he doesn't want me to get off him. I then realize that I might have hurt him when I fell on him! "Oh my God, Finn! Did I hurt you?!? Does it hurt when I move?!? Don't worry I'll find a way-" as I'm panicking Finn suddenly bursts out laughing. He let's go of me and uses his now free hands to wipe away his tears. After he's done he looks at me, amusement visible on his face. " I've never met someone as dense as you, Nico!" I look at him confused as he picks me up and sets me safely on the ground. I ask him more questions about why he's laughing but he just keeps telling me I wouldn't understand. We make our way over to my sister as she seems to be examining something under a tarp on the floor. Before I could ask her what was under the tarp she gives me a tight hug and tells me how happy she was to see me. "I thought I'd lost you," she says as I hear her choke back a sob. I hug her back as I reassure her that I would never leave her. She gives me a slap on the head as she scolds me for floating in the first place and that I should have come down when she had asked me to. She stops scolding me when she hears a commotion coming from downstairs which she quickly goes to investigate. I look down and notice Finn nealing next to the tarp when I notice that underneath were...two bodies. I was about to ask if he knew them before I realizing that they were the two guys who wanted to copy him and float when the ship had no gravity. I console him that it wasn't his fault but he only looks at the bodies with resentment. I decided to give him his space as I went to find Wells. I walk over to where Clarke, Wells, and I were sitting to find Wells still undoing his seat belt. He looks shaken up so I softly tap his shoulder to get his attention. He turns to me relief evident on his face. "Niko! Oh, thank God you're not hurt." He stands up and hugs me tight towards his chest. I laugh and tell him I was fine, giving him a big hug in return. I ask him how the landing was for him, just for him to go silent and stare off into space. Almost like he was recalling something that happened before we landed. He ignores my question and reverses the question to me asking how my landing was. I can tell he didn't want to talk about the landing so I don't pry and instead answer his question. "Oh! My landing was fine. I landed on Finn, so he kinda broke my fall." I let out a nervous laugh as I remember how I woke up on top of him. I look up at Wells's face to see he wasn't laughing and didn't look pleased with all. "Oh, you landed on him? Well, it's a good thing he was there when he was." I look at Wells as he finishes talking with a grim expression before he looks at me and replaces it with a happy one. We both laugh and I start to head downstairs when I feel my arm being held in place. I look at Wells confused and ask him if he was ok. "Oh, yeah I'm fine, just a little wobbly from the landing. Could I use you for support?" I give him a smile and offer him my hand "Of course you can! Just lean on my shoulder." Wells almost does until Finn shows up and trades places with me. "Wells you can use my shoulder instead. Don't you think the little prince is too short to support you? Wouldn't want you to hurt you back." says Finn as he helps Wells over to the ladder. Wells looks at Finn annoyed as he leans on him. He quickly changes to happy as he agrees that Finn was a better fit for the job. It also looks like he's squeezing Finn's shoulder rather tightly, but I think nothing if it since I see Finn still smiling. I then realize that they had both just called me short to my face!  "Hey! I'm not that short...infact I could probably support both of you with one hand!" I tell them proudly as I flex my nonexistent muscles. I hear two chuckles behind me before two weights are suddenly put on both my shoulders. I turn-around to see Wells and Finn, both leaning on me forcing me to carry both of them. They then both lean down to my ears and say,
"You can support both of us right, Nico?"
"Yeah, this should be a breeze for you, little prince"
The sensation of them both talking so close to my ears makes me laugh from how weird and ticklish it felt. Because of this, I end up losing balance resulting in me falling to the floor. Wells and Finn following shortly after. As we all lay on the floor looking at each other Wells begins to laugh at the whole situation. Finn and I soon join in after resulting in us all laying on the floor laughing together. We keep laughing until a boy runs over too me tapping my shoulder. I look up at him asking if he needed something. "Oh, I don't need anything, but your sisters' about to need a medic if you don't go help her." I look at him confused as I wonder what he's talking about until I remember why I was going downstairs in the first place...Clarke! I totally forgot she went down there to check on all the noise everyone was making. I try to get up only to remember I'm stuck under two of my friends. I turn to them both. "Uh guys can you maybe move?"

Wells Pov:

"Uh guys can you maybe move?" says Nico as he struggles to get up. I then remember the position we're in. A part of me didn't want to get off though. This thought swirled in my mind until I hear a voice to the left of me. "Oh? Does the big strong Nico need help?" said Finn as he ruffled Nico's hair. This made me quickly jump off Nico and grab Finn off him as well. Finn looked at me a bit irritated but then went back to Nico and begin teasing him about how weak he was. I watched as they walk downstairs laughing with one another. Finn even put his arm on Nico's shoulder, which Nico didn't seem to mind at all. It annoyed me how close they had gotten in a day. I was supposed to be Nico's best friend, but now Finn is trying to replace me. After Clarke confirmed that she wanted nothing to do with me I felt broken, but I know one thing for sure...I'm not losing Nico.
