'Maybe we were a little upfront' Sam said as my hearing and awareness came back to me. 'Cuts to the torso, slightly electrocuted, temporary deafness, and a possible cold as we haven't changed her clothes yet.' I shivered as my wet clothes clung to my body. 'Ah, she's awake.' Abi said, earning a shove from me as I clumsily got out of bed and hobbled to the toilet, sighing as I sat on the cold tiles, shivering like a maniac. I was too scared to think as Rebecca could hear me. Any moment now Nick could come through these walls and they could all attack me. But I was too unstable to escape and too buggered to fight back. I was stuck.
I sat there for 30 minutes before someone knocked. 'Nat.' It was Paris. 'Are you okay?' I hummed a yes in response. 'Well whenever you're ready you can come out.' Then she left. An hour went by. 'Nat there is food on the table two doors down from here, as well as snacks in the fridge. Come out when you want it.' That was Stacy. 5 hours went by, it was now 11pm. 'Nat.' Theo knocked at the door. 'Yeah' I murmured, awakening from a nap. 'There's a bedroom prepared for you. It's opposite the room you're currently in. Goodnight. ' Then he left.
At 2.15am I got up and dragged myself to the kitchen, found panadol, took some and tip-toed-limped to my room. I took off my damp clothes that I was freezing in, found a jumper and bike shorts and tucked myself into bed.
What a day!
