Dawn of the first day.
"Rise and shine, heroes!" Yells an overly energetic voice over the intercoms in the cabin, "We've got a lot of training for you today! The earlier we start, the more we can do!" The voice continued. It had woken everybody up, whether they wanted to be woken up or not. Well, all but one student.
Midoriya had woken up over an hour earlier to do his morning workout. He figured they'd start early, so he got up extra early so he could get his usual grind in. He had also taken this time to make himself something to eat since he didn't know if they'd give them a chance for breakfast before training. He was just finishing up his food when everyone came out.
"Morning everyone!" He shouted, already energetic since he had worked the tired off.
"Midoriya? How long have you been up?" Kirishima asked wondering how he was already fully awake.
"Oh, I got up an hour or so ago and did my usual morning workout," The green man explained, "I was surprised to see that there were a few dirt monsters out still from last night! I took them out so that no one would be bothered by them today!" He continued with a smile.
"Man, you're crazy... but that's so manly!" Kirishima stated, with Tetsutetsu saying the last part in unison with him.
"Whatever, extras. He just knows he has to work harder than the rest of us to even hope to keep up." Bakugo stated from the other side of the common room while sitting on a couch.
"Good morning everybody! We will be beginning our training very soon! We'll train from 6 to 9, then you'll have breakfast, then more training, lunch at 1, even more training, then dinner at 9! But remember, we're not feeding you! You'll have to make your own food!" Pixie-Bob exclaims in her hyperactive way. "First things we do in a day will be regular conditioning workouts! So make sure you're wearing something you can move in! Meet out front in ten minutes!" She finished. Most everyone groaned as they headed back to their rooms to change, pretty bummed they weren't going to be able to eat for another 3 hours.
"So Midoriya, should I be insulted that you wanted to do extra training, or are you just crazy?" The blonde cat woman asked the greeny.
"I didn't mean to be disrespectful! I just have a morning routine that All Might gave me, and he told me to do it every morning!" Izuku said, very worried about the approaching stern-faced Pixie-Bob. Once she was close, she ruffled his hair and smiles.
"All Might trains you personally? Huh, that's impressive. How'd you get to be his favorite?" She questions him.
"Well, My quirk didn't actually surface until late. Like, really late. The first time I even knew I really had one was at the very end of the U.A. entrance exams," He looked down at his hands, already in the process of telling the half-lie of his quirk that he tells everyone. "Uraraka, the girl with the gravity quirk, was buried under rubble when this massive 0-point robot appeared and was about to crush her. When it appeared, I fell in fear. Everyone was running away, no one even bothered to help me, even though I was frozen in fear. But then, I heard a scream and saw Uraraka stuck and in harm's way. My body immediately got up, jumped up to the robot's eye level, and threw a single punch that blew him away. Up until that moment, I'd never even shown a sign of a quirk. I was even diagnosed as quirkless when I was younger," He explained, as the blonde woman was shocked by the story, "All might saw something in me. It must've been the fact that I put myself in danger just to save someone I didn't even know. And ever since then, he's been helping me figure out my quirk, and getting me into shape so I can figure out how to be a good hero..." Izuku finally finished his story. She was amazed by it all.
