Chapter 16 : Silent Night

Rhys's POV

Sorceress Roni literally pulled us back to the villa. She took off her headphones and start scolding us for our attitude. "You guys are literally acting like children , I know , Dawn told you that Kai is evil but your talking , it feels like you're gonna kill him!"

"Or.....You guys have a crush on my sister?"said Roni and make us jumped except Pierce. "N...no , we don't!""I can clearly see you're blushing , Asch."said Roni while she sat next to Princess Ava who's covering her head with a pillow.

"Shy huh? Ava? Who just said that I feel jealous for no one have a crush on me? There's 4 in front of you.""Stop it , Roni....I literally thinking about my funeral now.""Okay....Pierce , I want to talk to you for a moment. "said Roni while pulled Pierce towards her spell room.

Roni's POV

"Pierce , can you explain about this....?""Well....your parents came for a visit and they assumed that she's a princess....cause she told Noi that her dad is a leader of all humans.""Hold it. So the purpose of the Daemos fighting for Ava is you guys assumed that she's a princess?""Not me , only them."He said with a very nervous voice. Aw.....Pierce is just so cute....I patted on his head and touched his hair smoothly. Just try not to touch his horns. " Let's just go out and deal with the others. Shall we?""Yes."

"Ugh. Can't you guys shut up , you literally fight for 2 hours.""NOT UNTIL AVA CHOOSE ONE OF US TO MARRY WITH!""Just because of the stupid magic crisis in Daemos and plus the fact that you guys assumed that Ava's a princess? You're annoying my practice!""I never told you about the magic crisis in Daemos , didn't I?" HOLLY MOLLY......"I...need to go...."As I was trying to run , Pierce grabbed my wrist and Leif blocked my way to the music room.And the only weapon with me....is the flute.I have no choice , I can't let them know about the truth!

Leif's POV

I blocked Roni's way to the spell room and she suddenly grabbed the flute and she's gonna play the spell. "Roni...put it down.""JUST LET ME THROUGH!" "LEIF!""ON IT!"As Ava screamed , I knocked Roni and she fainted onto the ground . "Thank god....She didn't hurt you guys....." "Em....Are you caring about us , Ava?" Ava's face becomes red for a sudden after Noi asked her the question. "Pierce....take Roni upstairs , would you?""Yes."said Pierce and he carried Roni in bridal style and took her to her chamber.

"Hold it....My sister? A Daemos? Why would you said that? You're gotta be kidding me, Rhys."" I'm serious about this , Princess Ava.If she's not one of us , how come that she can use the flute , that belongs to a person who's a Daemos?""You mean , Lady Melody?Roni used to tell me about her that she's appearing in her dream."As Ava said so , Rhys's eyes widen big. "You know what? You guys just thought tooooo much." said Ava while she walked upstairs.

Roni's POV

Ugh.....What the heck..... "Roni? You okay?"I can hear Pierce's sound next to me..... "Yay....I hope...."I get myself up from bed with Pierce's help. "Roni...can I talk to you for a moment?"said Ava with her head in the room. "You can go out , Pierce. I'll be fine.""Okay."He said after plant a quick kiss on my lips.

"What? Me? A Daemos?""I might split out too much about this Lady Melody?...."What?! "Ava! Do you know what the heck you just do?!"I suddenly see Ava with her eyes sparkled under the sunlight. Is she....crying?....

"Sorry....I'm just....a bit overreact....." "No.No.I don't blame you about that... just...."She said and layed on my leg , hugging my waist. "...Just afraid that I'll lose you....."I heaved a sigh of relief and patted on her head. "Wow. You really have a good head pats like Pierce , don't you?"As Ava said , I stopped and think about the time that I patted on Pierce's head as Jupiter. "....Why don't I sing the lullaby that I always sing for you?" "Yes....Please." said Ava while sleeping on my lap.

Pierce's POV

I was standing outside of Roni's chamber , waiting for Princess Ava to come out. Soon , I heard a beautiful melody coming out from Roni's chamber.

I walked into Roni's chamber quietly and found that Princess Ava's sleeping on Roni's lap. I put her next to Roni and sat next to Roni who's sleeping in her sweet dreams. I let her sleep on my shoulder and looked outside of the window , looking at the glowing orbs in the sky. " Good night, Pierce...." Seems like Roni is still half awake. "Night."I kissed her forehead and cuddled her.
