Chapter 29 : Last sight

Roni's POV

That damn scar was still hurting me till today. Today's a big day. Should I even be thankful for the human's test? The character she creates was soooooo powerful.

If isn't Pierce's the one I'm protecting....Would I even be hurt now?....

"Roni? Today's the day , girl~""Yes. Coming , Ava."I wore a black hoodie and black jeans , packed everything I need and went downstairs for breakfast.

"Morning , Roni. Today's the big day , I assume.""Yeah, after this , next stop Korea."Ava's feelings immediately went down."You're....not staying for a while longer?""Popstar's life , Ava. I do wish to stay longer."

"I will be fine , Ava. Let go , sweetie."I request her to let go her hand , allowing me to the last but certainly not least rehearsal."I'm afraid....of what happen a few days ago will repeat.""One more time , Sis. I will be fine.*whisper*I'm a Daemos,  never forget this."She looked at me with her stresses relieved a bit.

Ava's POV

Yeah....she's a Daemos.....She knows how to defend herself....Maybe I'm worrying too much.....

"What big day is today , Princess Ava?""Oh , today's the day of her concert and....."I don't really want to tell the Daemos about this...."Just split it out.""The last day with Roni....She's leaving after this.""What?!" "W- Where?""Somewhere very far....."

Pierce seems really down about this. I know the fact that Roni is the Jupiter he mentioned but....a promise is a promise....I can't break it. They will find out soon....I'm sure.

"Guys , cheer up. It's no such a big deal , we will meet her soon enough. Come on , change your human outfits. We gonna meet her one last time."

Pierce's POV

I just can't believe it.....

She's leaving.....

I still need to find out the truth of her scars.....

"What's with this whole commotion?" "Sorry , coming through!""Make way people!""Are the lights fixed?"The backstage was crowded with humans.

"Ava , Guys , what are you doing here?"I turned back and found a fully dressed Roni greeting us.

She has light red lips and her hair was tied into a ponytail. She's wearing a white broken-mirror style dress with pink tulle cascading down and around it. Knee high wedged shoes , a flowery necklace and 2 glittery earrings.

I almost blushed for seeing such gorgeous her."Lookin' amazing , girl." Ava praised her and grabbed her hands tight."Thanks , Ava. You guys wanna stay at the backstage or....""We will stay here , special VIP.""Aw , you lovely little-""Roni , 10 minutes countdown. Ready."

"You're leaving? After this?"Roni got blank and looked at us with a sad smile."Yeah...""Can't you stay a little while longer?"asked Noi."This is probably how Popstar should live for the rest of her life. I got love it by force.""5 minutes , Roni!"

"Can't you just....please."I grabbed her hands tightly , hoping her to stay.Roni looked at me with her eyes a bit sparkling. Is she....."Sorry , gotta go."She split out the words and left us.

"I-It's okay , Pierce. We can say goodbye to her after this is over."said Ava while putting her hand on my shoulder.

Watching Roni singing so happy on stage , interacting with her fans , I can feel her heart was actually sad....She tries to cover up her sorrow.....

She wants to stay with us.....

She can't choose....

Right when Roni finished singing , a black out suddenly happen and....a aura....a very evil aura. When the lights return , Roni....she's gone....

"Where's Roni?""She can't left such time.""Find her , she couldn't go-"

"Pierce!"I rushed to the front stage , ignoring Ava's call and found a human head in the screen.

"Zex?!""What's he doing here?""How he came here?!"

"Pierce , Asch , and the others. I know you're there and Roni's with me. And I got this human Kai's company here..."

Kai?! How dare he-

"Listen , the deal is simple. Meet me at Celestia Beach. To see this human alive....for the last time-""Pierce! It's a trap! Don't-""Quiet , human!" He turned his head and yelled at Roni.

As the screen turns black , I immediately rushed to Celestia beach , followed by the others."How did he even got his way here?!" "Probably it was Lady Bish's idea." "Who cares let's just get to Celestia beach before it's too late!"

"Ah , there you are~"I looked at Zex angrily while catching my breath fron that whole running."Where is she?" "Hehe...Kai.""With pleasure."

That evil human threw Roni , half dead onto the sand." Her arms was covered with scars and blood.Roni! How could you-!""She's too annoying and we taught her to shut up.""P-Pierce...." Roni suffered from calling out my name. As she called , Kai grabbed her ponytail and placed a dagger upon her neck.

"Shut up before I kill you."Roni sobbed as the dagger was inches away from her throat."What do you want , Zex.""Easy....See this?"He pulled a potion and shaked it in front of our eyes.

"Drink this and I might spared her life. If you don't.....You know the end." As Zex said so , Kai grabbed her hair tighter."Argh!"Roni cried from all of the pain. I picked up the potion that was threw onto the ground , hesitating.

"Pierce. You know what is the use of the potion. Think wisely. If we just head back to Daemos , we surely be-" "I would suffer any cost...if it's to save Roni....""Yes....That's what I'm waiting for. Now , drink it and I will let her go."

I opened the lid and looked at every single Daemos."*sigh*I'm ready to face death."I sighed as Leif said so. Everyone's prepared....for their heads off......

"No , Don't!"I looked at Roni who leaned forward. Her hand somehow has the flute. She threw it towards the potion and it shattered into pieces. We're saved but....

For Roni's sudden action , Kai didn't moved the dagger away from her throat. A scar was formed on her throat and the dagger was stabbed deeply into her throat. Her eyes turned blank and fainted on the sand.

"N-no...."Kai freaked out and threw Roni's dead corpse onto the ground. "Freeze! Sir Kai , you're under arrest!" Kai raised up his hands as he found him nowhere to go."The 9 hundred and eleven warriors..."said Noi full of shock.

"Roni....wake up....please....I need you...please...""Sir , we need to take her to the hospital before it's too late." "Roni....""Pierce , believe them. They can handle this."said Ava while letting the humans in white to take Roni away from me.Ava hugged me tight , sobbing quietly , hoping for not losing her sister.

Roni.....please be alright.....
