I've been familiriazing with things around me, remembering every bits and pieces of it, even memorizing its most unique pattern. Because when the time comes that I can no longer see, I hope that I would still see the world as it is. Just as what I remeber it to be. I'd like to have it embedded still, in my heart.
While I was clutching my phone tight on my chest, I saw a body popping out in the corner coming out from the living room.
And when I heard nothing after it, it was like a que for me to open my tightly shut eyes. I was so shocked to see Yago and Yaron, standing in front of, with an expresionless face.
"Fuck it!" Was the first thing that comes out of my mouth, "What do you think you're both doing in here?" I said when I regained my posture.
"I would like to make a proposal for you..." Yaron said while looking at me with a desperate eyes.
I scoffed, "Really? After what you've said in front of Lath? I'm sorry but I won't do it."
"I didn't mean to say it-"
"I don't really care." I said.
I can feel the intensity of Yago's stare, it was piercing through me.
I dropped my bottled water louder that what I have anticipated, it was to somehow tell them that their presence here is not welcome. "If you don't have anything else to say, you two can leave. I'd like to rest now."
"We're leaving now. Sorry for breaking in to your unit."
He said his apologies before saying that he'll most definitely come back again for his proposal tomorrow.
When I opened my phone, it shows in my screen that I got a text message from Yago.
Yago:
Make sure to lock your doors, including the one in your balcony. Check your windows, too, before you sleep.
And there was another one.
Yago:
We'll talk tomorrow.
I haven't got the chance to even check the time, basta when I woke up, the sun's already high up in the sky. I decided not to check on my phone first thing in the morning dahil nagugutom na talaga ako.
