A word wasn't spoken between you and Tsukishima the next morning.

He quickly went back to his house during the early hours, not even bidding you a goodbye. Well, it's not like he needed too. You were going to see him later that day anyway.

Your heart was thumping against your chest hard. This game was what judged whether or not Karasuno was going to the Nationals or not. Everything they worked hard for will be looked upon today, and you couldn't hide that you were sweating bullets.

Everyone was nervous, you weren't the only exception. Kiyoko has already attempted to calm you down, reassuring you, meditating with you, giving you massages, but nothing seemed to have calmed down your racing pulse.

It was a first for you to remotely give enough care or attention to something other than school, or drinking. Speaking of, you haven't drank a good heavy liquor in such a long time...and honestly, it felt great. It felt nice to finally understand what the hell was going around you for once. But not right now. Right now you wanted to ease your nerves which you didn't even know why you had them so badly.

It's not like you were playing. And it's not like you were going to even be on the same floor as everyone else. You were going to be on the bleachers, with the rest of the watchers.

'I can't be selfish and force my way to the main floor.'

"Woah!! Is that Saito Y/N?" The whispers were back, per usual. And the sudden feeling of hatred began to grow within you. From before you hated the stares of the public, but now you had a feeling stronger than hate for the continuous eyes of strangers. You despised it.

"I think so...what school does it say on her jacket?? Torino? I didn't know there was a Torino High in Miyagi --"

"Dumbass! That isn't Torino, that's Karasuno! You know, the one with that short middle blocker?"

      "Oh that one!"

Thank God, the whispers weren't all about you. Hinata and Kageyama took most of the spotlight which you were internally grateful for.

Picking at your nails, you looked into the vending machine that held numerous drink options. Is your mind that conflicted you can't even choose a damn drink?

'Should I get a water? No, that's too boring.'

'A beer? No, somebody could see me and cause a scandal. Father would see that I'm not improving and take me away.'

'Royal milk tea? Tch, I don't feel like it.'

Suddenly, a pale finger appears from the right, pressing onto number five. Which coincidentally, was the drink you completely forgot about but had a mild obsession over.
