A.N: The epilogue after this will be the final chapter. This was originally a short story & so I've decided to keep it as such and end it as soon as possible. I apologize for the delay; finals are coming up and so it's been a hectic time for me as a first year university student. Anyhow, without further ado, please enjoy the second to last chapter of Jumping Trains.

*Recap*
A year went by full of trials and “Yes, your honor” and a ton of other draining bullshit. I tried futilely to get him to plead guilty so that they’d be more lenient on his sentence but the old man was still as stubborn as ever. Benson had started his first year of college but he insisted on living at home in order to stay close to me. He’d live on campus once I’d joined him in college.
“How’s college?” I asked methodically.
“Piece of cake for now,” he answered. He had all A’s. “I think once I get into my second semester, things will be harder.”
I nodded. “Any cute girls?”
“There’s one cuddling up to me right now,” he said with a coy smile. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead. “You smell nice.”
“So do you.”
He tilted my chin up for a kiss and I gladly obliged. It never went farther than this: a brief make-out session and then we went to bed. I found myself planting light kisses on his neck. Our “innocent” kisses turned into nibbling on each other’s lips and exploring parts of each other’s bodies that we’d only ever dreamed of.
“Are you sure?” he’d asked me.
“I trust you. Just…do what feels right.”
*End Recap*
Stretching, I yawned and looked around to get my bearings. I was in Benson’s room. Sitting up, I swung my feet over the edge of the bed. I tiptoed over to his door and stepped on what I realized were the clothes I thought I was wearing. I quickly put them on and hurried back to my room. I’d lost my virginity last night and it made me sad to think sex wasn’t all that it was cracked up to be. I was expecting what I read in books or heard from others. Unfortunately, it was nothing like that. Maybe it’s because we were both inexperienced. Ignoring the soreness in my muscles, I made myself presentable and grabbed a granola bar before heading to school.
“Hey,” I said, sitting down five minutes before class started.
“Hey,” Farrah replied. Farrah was one of the few friends I had decided to make and keep. She was sometimes the complete opposite from me but I guess that’s why I liked her. I liked that she wore heels without planning to go anywhere. I liked her flame red hair that went past her shoulder blades. I liked how when she wanted something, she didn’t hesitate to get it. Most of all, I liked that she was always hungry, like me. “How was court?”
“Same. Tiring.”
She nodded. “Anything new?”
“My dad doesn’t want to plead guilty.”
“I meant outside of the courtroom, Ashton,” she chuckled.
“Oh. New in life? Um, Benson and I slept together.”
She barely contained her gasp. “What was it like?” she probed, leaning in closer. “Did you like it?”
“It was…” I shrugged. “Painful.” I thought about her next question. “I didn’t dislike it but I didn’t particularly like it either. It’s like having a remote control repeatedly jab you down there.”
