Betty's POV

Jughead Jones just kissed. Jughead kissed me. Oh my god. Am I just a one time fling for him, of course I am, don't kid yourself Betty, why would he like me. He looked at me as I sat back next to him. 'Betty, I'; he started, but I interrupted him. 'Jughead, please, I don't want to be a one time thing for you, not after I just got out of a toxic relationship'; I said looking at me. 'Betty, I want to change for you and I'll wait until your ready, whether that means I have to wait until tomorrow or a year, I'll wait for you'; he said caressing my cheek softly. 'Why'; I asked. He looked at me confused. 'Why would you wait for someone like me when there are way more beautiful girls are out there'; I asked as tears started filling my eyes. 'Why would I want any other girl when the most beautiful and amazing and smart girl is right in front of me'; he asked. 'You really think that'; I whispered. 'Of course, and I promise I'll wait for you, I won't have any one night stands with anyone or even kiss someone'; he said and I looked at him in disbelief. 'Juggie, I can't let you wait, that isn't fair for you, trust me, I want to be with you, but I have too much on my plate right now, with my dad, his wife and children, Polly, Archie and my mom'; I said and he nodded. 'Betts, you didn't ask me to wait for you, I made that choice myself and I'll help you through everything and when you'll ready I'll be right here for you'; Jughead said and I just hugged him tightly. 'Thank you'; I whispered. He hugged me back and squeezed me; 'no need to thank me princess'. We finished the movie and I think we fell asleep.

Cheryl's POV

I walked into the living room and saw one of the most cutest things ever. Cousin Betty sleeping in jughead's arms and Jughead holding her tightly in a protective way. 'Wow'; I heard Toni say from behind. 'Never thought that Jughead would ever be such a softy for a girl'; she continued. Veronica and Reggie also came in and saw them cuddling together. 'They are adorable, I knew we would find a boy for B, who won't treat her like shit'; V said. 'Yeah, I hope that he won't stay a player, but I think he has genuine feelings since he didn't try to get into her pants the second he saw her'; Reggie said. They started to stir and we saw that they wake up. 'Morning princess'; Jughead said. Swoon. 'Morning Juggie'; Betty whispered and when Jughead kissed her head, Veronica lost it. 'You guys, your acting like an married couple'. They turned around, both red, looking embarrassed. 'B, girls talk, now'; V said and Betty groaned. 'Just go then it will be done'; Jughead said she sighed. She got up and we all followed her. 'When did that happen'; I asked. 'Last night, we kissed, but I can't jump into a relationship, and with Jughead's reputation I don't want to get hurt again, and he understood and said he would wait for until I'm ready, he even said he wouldn't even kiss someone else'; she said and we were all shook. 'Jones, said he would wait for you, the next you know he's selling his motorcycle'; Toni said and Betty frowned. 'No no no, I mean that he really likes you'; she quickly said. 'I just feel so guilty, I don't think it's fair for him'; she said looking down. 'Did he propose the idea of waiting until your ready'; I asked. She nodded. 'Then Betty you are not holding him back, he wants to wait for you'; I said as Betty slowly looked op. 'Ugh, why is everything so complicated'; she groaned and laid on her bed. 'It's just your life girl'; V said and Betty rolled her eyes.

*in the evening*

We were all sitting in the living room watching a movie when betty came in breathing heavy and tears streaming down her face, I saw a little bit of blood on her neck, but before any of us could react Jughead was already by her. 'Betts, what happened'; he asked cupping her face, we all stood behind him. 'Archie...he...minions...neck...'; she said but jug interrupted her. 'Princess, look at me, calm down, let me clean up your wound and then explain everything to us'; he said and she nodded. He pulled her in a hug and kissed her hair softly while stroking it. 'T-T, in less then two weeks they will be dating, I bet ya'; I whispered. 'It's on, winner gets 30 bucks'; she said and I nodded. Jug took her to the bathroom and we all sat down on the couch waiting for them in silence.

Jughead's POV

I walked with Betty into the bathroom and I sat her down on the sink. 'Betts, this is gonna sting a little, okay'; I told her and she nodded. I looked at the wound and saw that someone clearly held a knife against her throat which caused it to bleed. 'What happened'; I whispered as started cleaning the wound. She flinched at the contact. 'Sorry'; I whispered. 'It's fine'; she said. After I cleaned it up and put on a bandaid. I sighed cupping her face, wiping her tears away. 'Princess, can you please tell me what happened'; I pleaded and she finally looked into my eyes. She looked broken and hurt. 'I- was walking back home from the library, when some guy grabbed my from behind and put a knife against my neck, h-he knows w-who I am jug, he h-he called me E-Elizabeth, h-he said, if I t-talk back t-to A-Archie he will, k-kill me jug'; she said, screaming the last part before falling into my arms. I felt a few tears fall on my shirt and I held her as tight as I can, I was crying myself. 'Baby, he's gonna pay for everything, he won't put a finger on you, I promise you, I will protect you Betts'; I told her, we pulled away from the hug and I held her face. I looked into her green eyes, just by giving her a look promising her everything I just said. 'Guys what's going on'; Toni asked as she walked in.

I am already on a writersblock so I will probably post every four-five days, it's exam year so I am already busy with preparing for that, which means I also don't have lots of time,
