TWELVE

Jughead's POV

*two years later*

Well it's been a while since all the drama.
Betty and I are better then ever, we are graduating this year. But there is one thing bothering me, the pregnancy test I found in the bathroom.

I'm sorry, the 'positive' pregnancy test. Why didn't she tell me? I mean, does she not want me to know? Is she scared I don't want this child?

Betty went somewhere so I sat on the couch waiting for her. Toni walked in and saw me. 'Jug, what's wrong'; she asked. 'Toni, your gonna be an aunt'; I said and she looked at me confused.

'What do you mean, I'm gonna be aunt'; she asked and then looked me in the eye. 'Is Betty pregnant'; she asked. 'Yea, I think so'; I responded. 'What do you mean, you thinks so, Jones is she pregnant or not'; she asked raising her voice. 'I think she is, because I found a positive pregnancy test in the bathroom, it could be Veronica's tho'; I said.

'What can be mine'; Veronica asked when she and Reggie walked in. 'Ronnie, did you take a pregnancy test'; I asked. 'What no, why'; she asked. Then her eyes widened, but before she could say anything Betty and Cheryl walked in, they were in an argument. 'Cousin Jughead won't leave you, he's not an entire idiot and he bloody loves you'; Cheryl said. 'You don't know that Cheryl, first, I need to tell him I got a job offer in New York and then that he is gonna be a fucking father, I can't ruin his life'; she said with her back to us so she didn't see us.

'You really think you would ruin my life by blessing me with my child'; I said and I saw her shocked face. 'Jug, I- I swear I wanted to tell you, I found out this morning and went to the doctor with Cheryl for conformation'; she said. I saw the rest leave, but I was too focused on Betty and the new information.

'Betty, I love you, I want to marry you as soon as we graduate, but we need communication. Like when you get an job offer, or when you think your pregnant, you need to tell me these things so that I can support you and be happy with you Betts'; I said and she nodded tears falling from her eyes. 'Please don't cry'; I whispered cupping her cheeks, wiping her tears. 'I'm sorry jug, I should've told you the second I got the mail and the second the test turned positive, it was just so much life-changing news, I didn't know what to do, and I was afraid you would leave'; she said. I sighed and we both sat on the couch, I took her hands in mine and looked at her.

'Betts, I would never leave you, or our child'; I said putting my hand on her stomach. 'And Betts, you better accept that job offer'; I said and she giggled. 'I have pictures'; she whispered and my eyes widened. She got sonograms out of her bag and gave them to me.  I looked at them and saw a bean-sized human being. My eyes started tearing up at the sight of my child. Betty sighed and put her head on my shoulder. 'I'm two months'; she said. 'I love them already'; I said. 'Me too'; she said. I looked at her. 'I love you so much Betty'; I said. 'I love you too'; she said and kissed me. 'Can I plan the babyshower'; we heard Veronica yell.

'Really, you guys were eavesdropping'; I asked annoyed. 'Congrats man'; Reggie said and we bro-hugged. 'I can't wait to spoil my darling nephew or niece, and welcome to the family, Jughead'; Cheryl said. 'Oh yeah, now I'm related to you'; I groaned and Betty smacked my head. 'But, don't tell anyone yet, the doctor said that there is a chance in the first trimester that I can get a miscarriage'; Betty said and I rubbed her back. 'Well then, I'll be babying you around for another month, I want to keep my child and my baby momma/ fiancé healthy and safe'; I said and Betty rolled her eyes.
