Toko POV:

I felt my eyelids start to open as my head leaned against a solid block, with my body in a sitting position. As, my eyes opened I realized I was in a classroom with 16 desks, all made with a light-colored wood. The floor was a black and white checkered pattern and in the front of the classroom was a huge dark green board that said "Welcome to Hope's Peak Academy Class 78!" I immediately lifted my head off of what I assumed to be my desk and looked around the classroom even more. There was a dark brown bookshelf on the far right of the classroom which held basic school books. On the other end there was another bulletin board which had papers stuck on it. In the four corners of the classroom were a security camera for each corner.

~Weird...why would a school need security cameras in a classroom. I mean how strict do they need to be with us

 I decided to ignore it and carefully got up from my seat making my way over to the bulletin board. Once there, I started searching through the papers to see if there were any clues of how I could have gotten here. One paper that caught my eye was a paper announcing there would be a Homecoming Dance this Friday, September 18th. 

~So it must be September then?

I snatched the paper off the bulletin board and stuffed it into my skirt pocket. Then, I went over to the other side of the room, where I noticed something important. What I assumed to be windows were covered with heavy sheets of metal screwed in with brown nails. I put my hand up against it and tried to push it, but it wouldn't budge. 

~I mean I am weak. What was I expecting? The metal sheet would immediately fall off. Ha!

Still, it was very odd but then again this could just be Hopes Peak's way of decorating their classrooms. Maybe, they wanted their windows bolted up so the students wouldn't get distracted from their studies. I mean I heard how strict this school was for students who didn't follow their Ultimates. 

I sighed and continued my search for how I got here and thats when I noticed a sheet of paper laying on the ground. I scooped it up and started reading it. Most of it was boring, it just talked about the start of our new school year and the regular rules for a school, but I noticed something  written in blue ink on the bottom.

~Gather in the gym at 8 for the Welcoming Ceremony!

This must be the Welcoming Ceremony that I had learned about in an email from Hopes Peak Academy a while ago. Hmm? I looked up from the letter and started looking around for a clock, but I found none. 

~Hm? I guess I better head to the gym then. I mean it could be past 8 for all I know.

I stuffed the letter into my other skirt pocket since you'll never know when you'll need it again and opened the door of the classroom. Surprisingly, it opened very easy and it led to a series of hallways lit by an ominous pink light. The floor seemed to be a black and white checkered pattern and the walls were white with columns which seemed to be an even darker white. I continued walking but very softly so I would not disturb anyone if anyone was here. As I walked I remembered something.

~This is like something out of a novel that I had just read. In the novel, there was a boy named James who was walking down a dark hallway and bumped into another boy named Albert. They realized that they had both come here with no past memories whatsoever and had gotten a letter telling them to go to the cafeteria. Then, when they got to the cafeteria they were forced into a murder mystery game with puzzles and clues.
