Chapter 2

Reader P.O.V.
    Ryan was kind enough to hold you while you waited for his ride. You had your head on his shoulder when you heard his truck pull up. "Hey Ryan c'mon we gotta get back to work man" the guy driving his truck called out. "Okay sweetheart, I think this is a goodbye." "I think so too" you said to him with a frown on your face. "I'm glad I was your knight in shining or whatever today" you kissed his cheek and said "I'm glad I was able to meet you, and it sucks it wasn't on better circumstances but at least we met".
    He gave you one last hug with a kiss on your forehead. You couldn't stop the tears coming down your face, he wiped the tears and said "don't cry please". You nodded you head and he gave you one last look before he got in his truck and they drove away. Right then you couldn't stop sobbing.
    Your uncle came out because he heard you crying and asked you what's wrong but then he looked at your face and got mad and started yelling and screaming asking you who did this to you, and you said two guys but that they were taken care of because a guy name Ryan helped you. You uncle asked what he looked like and you replied by saying, "Well he had eyes so blue that when you're staring at them it felt like you were staring into the ocean. Ummm he had cowboy boots on, he had a beard, a cowboy hat." You uncle laughed and you were confused on why, " what's so funny?" "Well you described mostly every guy here" "oh, um well I remember he had a letter on it jacked" "what letter" "I think it was a Y, yes I remember it was most definitely a Y."
    Your uncle didn't know how to respond, so he said "you should go thank him when you have a chance, you wouldn't want to regret it because the way you look when you talk about him is crazy" he then walked back inside and left you thinking about how you would find him. Then all of a sudden you hear "You'll find him at the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, that's where he works"
     A week went by and it was your last day here in Montana, but you know you couldn't leave without a proper thank you and goodbye to Ryan. So you got in your truck and drove to the Dutton Ranch. It was about 10 o'clock at night when you got there. As you pulled up you got out of your truck about to ask for Ryan when you see a bunch of guys get into a truck, and then you see Ryan going to get on. "RYAN!!" You scream at him. He turns around and looks at you and smiles, he starts to head over to you when one of the guys says "hey Ryan what's the hold up we gotta go!!" Ryan looked at you and then back and said "give me a few I gotta take care of something. He came to you and said come here, he took you to the bunker where there was a bunch of guys and said "can you stay here and wait till I get back? I won't be long I swear." You nodded your head and said "sure" he told the guys "hey can you guys make sure she is comfortable and everything and if she needs to lay down or anything give her my bunk" all the guys replied by saying okay. He gave you a hug and a kiss on the forehead before he left, it reminded you of the first time he left.
   The guys started introducing themselves to you and you got a really good vibe form them. Before an hour had past you already knew all their names, and you were playing cards with them. Well learning to play.
    About two hours later, Ryan opens the door to the bunker and smiles when he sees you. You stand up and walk up to him smiling, the two of you just stared at each other not saying anything. All of a sudden this guys said "My name is Rip and I suggest you to stop staring at each other and go talk outside" he said while chuckling. Ryan just smiles and grabs your hand while leading you outside. Once y'all are outside he stop right in front of the barn and he just shakes his head. You asked why he did that and he said "because you're beautiful and I'm speechless because you actually came to see me" "well I needed to see you, I wanted to give you a proper thank you" you said while walking closer to him, he knew what you meant and started leaning in and said "and what would that be" as your lips connected. You tried not to think about the guys talking but then you heard, "look he has his hoe of the week, this one actually looks nice" you pulled away from Ryan and started crying and he said "what's wrong, did I do something wrong?" He was so confused and you looked at him mad "Why don't you ask your roommates how I'm your hoe of the week" You pulled away from him and started walking away and towards your truck. "I also came to tell you I'm going back to Texas tomorrow, I came to say goodbye." You couldn't stop the tears running down your face. He tried calling you but it only made you run faster. You got in your truck and drove away.
