Y/N's POV

After Tuesday's therapy session, the week just seemed to fly by. Bakugou sauntered up to me and apologized in his own "sorry or whatever-the-fuck" way the day after our fight. Though, his face became a deep crimson whenever he made eye contact with me, and then he'd look away. Weird. I told him about the therapy session and what Dr. Kondo was like. He was not what I was expecting, but his awkward forwardness is probably what I need right now.

Ever since Tuesday, Katsuki's been more... clingy? I don't know if that's even the right word, but suddenly he's always hovering behind me, casting his spikey-haired shadow over everything I do. In the lunch line, on our way to PE, even when I sharpen my pencil... he insists on coming too. That's why I ended up telling him about Dr. Kondo. I originally wasn't going to, ya know- to prevent another fight, but since he's been hanging around me so much, conversation topics have started to become scarce. I described Dr. Kondo's room and the atmosphere he created and told Katsuki about some of the questions he asked. Funny enough, his already rosy cheeks became a fiery red when I told him about the boyfriend question. God, maybe he's coming down with something?

Anyways, it's currently Friday, the Friday before the UA Sports Festival. I've been pushing myself to the limit each day, training more and more. I've started waking up early to go on runs and then after school I practice harnessing all different kinds of light. My quirk is powerful, I know that, but it's also dangerous. I have to be careful of where I use it and how much power I am putting into a single light-charged punch.

Mina usually helps me train after school, she races me around the park near my house and sometimes throws acid at me to see if I can deflect it using accurate light ray precision. Usually she'll get tired after an hour of training and goes home, leaving me to push myself unsupervised. I typically workout until the sun sets, using every last bit of its shine until it's set behind a hill. Then I go home, take a shower, and do my homework. My days have been lasting from 5:45 am to 2:00 am, but that's the work of a hero. I'm willing to lose hours of sleep if that means I'm training myself for the top 5.

Today is probably the most important work out day with Mina. I refuse to train Sunday, the day before the Sports Festival, and I told Hagakure I'd tutor her Saturday, so today is my last chance to do the most extensive work out of all: a 1 v 1 battle.

"(Y/n) (l/n), care to pay attention to the lesson?" Mr. Aizawa grumbles, rubbing his temples in a painfully annoyed look. Shit, I've zoned out.

"Uhhh... I was paying attention, Sensei. What're you talking about?" I give him a nervous smile and a faint chuckle, signaling that I wasn't actually listening, but he knew that I knew that.

"Then would you like to tell us what we're supposed to be doing right now?" He retorts back. This guy has no mercy. He knows that I don't know what the hell we're supposed to be doing, asshole.

"Umm... well I..." I look down at my desk to see the 98% on my biology test. I had a red pen and I was supposed to be correcting the question I missed, but it was only one question... why should I care?

"We're going over our biology terms portion of the test, (y/n)." Momo 'informs' me. Really it was like she talking to me as if I were an idiot, but I don't have the gall nor time to call her out.

"Yeah, I got that." I spit out, shortly, and Momo sinks back into her seat.

I hear a faint chuckle behind me, and I see Bakugou snicker to himself as he looks away from me, glancing out the window. Of course he was enjoying this.

I look back down at my paper after apologizing to Mr. Aizawa and correct the single question I got wrong. It was a photosynthesis question, which was actually quite an embarrassing inflection on me considering my quirk. In all fairness though, the day we took the test I was running on an hour of sleep and a shot of espresso. That seems to be all that I'm running on these days.
