After applying the finishing touches to your makeup you checked yourself out in the mirror. You were wearing a ruched silk minidress that fell perectly over your body, flattering all the right curves. Not too bad you thought to yourself as you heard your phone buzz.
09:23pm - garcia *taxi is waiting outside*
09:24pm - you *omw :)*
Already you could hear Garcia babbling on to the driver as you walked to the cab, opening the door you were greeted with a huge hug and then a gasp when she fully took in your outfit.
"wow y/n, you look drop dead gorgeous"
Beaming you winked and said "as do you, you glorious human"
"So, I can clearly see that extra effort was put into tonight's ensemble, who are you trying to impress?" she teased
you sighed, she knew you too well. Then without realising your cheeks turned a tell tale shade of pink.
"OHMYGOD!" she gasped, "I was just kidding but you are aren't you?! Who is it?"
Racking your brain for an answer you knew there was no way Garcia was letting this go, at the very least she would try to get the answer from hacking into your phone.
"Ok, erm but promise to never repeat what I tell you to any other living soul"
"wow intense, and of course, y/n you know you can trust me with anything"
You knew she was right so you began retelling the events of the last few weeks and how slowly spencer had been growing on you, you told her that you'd tried to shake it off but simply couldn't. Once you had finished you stared at Garcia searchingly for a response.
An expression of realisation followed by excitement crossed her face as she exclaimed " I KNEW IT!!!!", "I thought you two had been acting different lately, it was like something shifted but when I tried to tell the others they told me I was being ridiculous and that I desperately needed a break from the screens, but I WAS RIGHT!!!!"
"Well I don't expect anything to happen between us so if you could please make sure you keep your lips sealed"
Making a zipping motion over her mouth Garcia smiled and said "of course but don't be shocked if I somehow manage to push the two of you together at some point tonight"
The car stopped outside and the two of you giggled like school children as you got out walking arm in arm into the bar.
