Leant against the outside wall of the bar you shook your head in disbelief. What in the hell had just happened? Looking at your wrist you poked it just to make sure this wasn't a dream, or more accurately some sort of nightmare. Ouch, definitely not a dream. You sighed, this night was supposed to be fun for everyone, now instead of drinking, laughing and dancing stupidly half of the team had gone back home after the mood had been dampened. Pressing yourself further into the wall, hoping to the universe that it would swallow you up instead of pushing back , no luck. Sliding down to the floor holding your knees to your chest as you did so, you sat there for a good few minutes before hearing a soft, familiar voice come from beside you.

"Hey y/n are you okay?"

It was spencer.

He sat down next to you, letting you rest your head comfortably in the nook of his shoulder. Then without warning, you felt yourself tear up, you tried to repress it, you never let yourself cry in front of the team, let alone spencer, but your effort was in vain. Wordlessly he reached his arm around you and pulled you in close holding you there as you sobbed into his shirt, feeling like an absolute idiot. He didn't care though he just let you cry whilst every now and then squeezing you gently and whispering comforting words into your ear. Eventually you managed to regain your words

"He was gonna hurt me spence, I just know it."

Embracing you tighter he whispered "you don't have to worry about that now y/n, you know I wouldn't ever let that happen".

Pulling away slightly you looked up at him with smeared mascara and weakly smiled, wiping away at the mess under your eyes he looked sincerely back at you and replied

"I swear on my life, now how about we get you home? I think you've had far too much excitement for one night, huh?"
